Chayanne Speaks of Panama with Love

Tonight's the night! Chayanne and crew have landed in Panama and are preparing to set the stage on fire! Not only are the people of Panama going to enjoy the show, they're also going to be able to help Chayanne celebrate his spot on "Billboards Hot Tours". 

"Latin superstar Chayanne ranks third on the list with concert totals reported from four South American cities on his April tour schedule.  The first two shows were at venues in Ecuador with sellout crowds in both markets.  The first concert was held at Coliseo General Rumiñahui in the city of Quito.  The indoor sports arena sold 13,695 tickets for an April 7 performance.  A stadium show at Estadio Modelo Alberto Spencer in Guayaquil followed on the 9th with a sellout crowd of 20,911.  The following week the Latin pop singer played two concerts in Peru, first at Lima's Jockey Club on April 14 followed by a show at Jardin de la Cerveza in the city of Arequipa on April 16."

Chayanne shares this list with such world wide mega stars as Justin Beiber, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks,  Keith Urban, Elton John, Disturbed, Arcade Fire, Chris Brown, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, and James Taylor.

To get the people of Panama ready Chayanne sent out "Tweets of Love" yesterday, he said, " I do wish to thank the support and greetings of congratulations on the Billboard Award - Tour of the year! I feel very happy and this award is yours, who always supported my career and enjoy what we do ... THANKS! Getting ready to go to Panama! Let's have fun! My love, I speak when it comes to Panama ... spend a nice day."

With That said...people of Panama, hold on to your hats. This is going to be the best Chayanne party EVER!

A Love Letter From Chayanne~

The Twibe is ALWAYS happy when Chayanne sends us a little 140 character tweet (which is never enough to say what you want to say, thank goodness for TwitLonger) But I have to tell you, personally, this is one tweet that I wish Chayanne had not had to write....the first time that I read it, I had to use Google translate, which is ok for simple things, but I knew that I was missing the nuances of what Chayanne was really trying to say. So...of course I was able to call upon one of my lovely Chay sisters to translate this tweet for me.

When I read it again, it just about brought me to tears. It hurt me because Chayanne apparently read all the stupidity that people were writing about the show that he had to cut short in Ferro. I may not have been a Chayanne fan as long as many, many of the fans have been, but it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that this is a man who truly cares about his fans....

Tonight I read the message again...this time I looked at it as more of a love letter. Chayanne makes it very clear that he was writing this himself, which I'm sure took alot of time because you can tell that there was thought, and care that was put into these words.

What do I want people to take away from this...as I have said before Chayanne (Elmer) is wonderful, beautiful human being. The key here is human..he thinks, he feels, he lives, he loves, he laughs...and unfortunately...he hurts. 

Chayanne~ You may never ever read this blog, and that's alright because I don't write it for notoriety...I do it because I felt that this was the best way that I could try and give back just a tiny bit of what you give to me. I understand that you are human and that some times that very thing can get in the way of all that we want to do. As the saying goes, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."  My main concern is that you hare happy and healthy, and I know that I'm not alone in that sentiment. Thank you for your beautiful words and thank you for loving us enough to share them with us

Press Release

Normally, press releases are written by those who specialize in it, but today we will make an exception (and forgive me if I don’t do it well), but I will write it, Chayanne.

I know that many of the people who attended my first concert, did not leave as satisfied as expected.  I have been attentive to the comments regarding the organization, the audio, the security…explanations are being given when in reality no one knows what really happened, so I will share something with you.

The life of an artist has more responsibilities than you can imagine and a tour, of course, imposes many more to-dos and responsibilities.  On one hand, by the time you arrive at a concert and see the stage full of lights and equipment, some 100 other people have passed through it, working long hours during the day to ensure that everything will go well for your enjoyment, and this is done every day, in different cities of different countries and it’s been that way since the tour started in February.

On the other hand, there’s me, Chayanne, who always wants the public to enjoy my show and go home happy, but I am human and for this reason just as vulnerable as everyone else.  Likewise, no one needs to know when an artist, athlete, dancer or lawyer feels sick because even then they must fulfill their responsibilities.  I have been traveling from one country to the other for many months and although the necessary precautions are taken to ensure one’s well being, sometimes the body plays a trick on us and even if I pour my soul into the show, something just isn’t working and you (as the audience) can perceive it right away.

I wanted to share with you this page from my diary, my day by day… I needed to.  I reiterate to you my love and respect because without you, we (the artists) wouldn’t exist. Chayanne.

Comunicado de Prensa

Normalmente todos los comunicados o notas de prensa son escritos por alguien que se especializa en eso, hoy vamos a hacer una excepción y discúlpenme si no lo hago bien, pero escribo yo, Chayanne.

Se que muchas de las personas que asistieron a mi primer concierto, no salieron complacidas como era de esperar. He estado pendiente de los comentarios que hablan de la organización, del audio, de la seguridad; se trata de dar explicaciones cuando no se sabe bien que pasó en realidad, yo les voy a compartir algo.

La vida de un artista tiene más responsabilidades de las que ustedes se pueden imaginar y una gira, por supuesto, implica muchas más tareas y responsabilidades. Por una parte, cuando ustedes llegan al concierto y ven un escenario lleno de luces y equipos, ya unas 100 personas han pasado por allí a trabajar largas horas y días para estar seguros de que todo sale bien para ustedes; y eso se repite todos los días, en diferentes ciudades de diferentes países y así desde que empezó la gira en Febrero.

Por otra parte, estoy yo Chayanne que siempre quiero que el público disfrute de mi show y se vaya a casa feliz, pero soy humano y por lo tanto vulnerable, como todos. Además, nadie tiene que saber cuando un músico, deportista, bailarín o abogado se siente enfermo pero aún así tiene que cumplir con su compromiso. Yo llevo ya muchos meses viajando de un país a otro y aunque se toman las medidas para estar bien a veces el cuerpo nos hace una jugada y aunque ponga el alma en el show hay algo que no funciona y ustedes lo perciben en seguida.

Quise compartir con ustedes ésta página de mi diario, mi día a día, necesitaba hacerlo les reitero mi cariño y respeto, porque sin ustedes no existimos los artistas. Chayanne

A Whole Lot Of Shakin' Goin' On

With plans for Chayanne's world tour under way, the dates for the first leg of the U.S. tour have already been confirmed, Chayanne gave fans a "sneak peek" behind the making of a new video. I have to tell you, Chayanne is looking better than ever!




(Personally I hope that the new video is going to be for the song "Tu Boca" of "Por Esa Mujer")

What else has Chayanne been up to, well, this past week he could also be found on Don Fransico Presents, where he sang "Mi Enamore de Ti" live.....in a pair or killer leather pants! As we all know Chayanne is the king of leather pants! (I don't think that there has ever been or will ever be a pair that's been made that didn't like him!)

So What's next for Chayanne? Well all of his fans on voting as fast as their little fingers will carry them and voting for Chayanne for the 2010

Chayanne Goes Red! World AIDS Day 2009

Bright and early this morning, Latin Mega Star Chayanne, and my personal favorite hottie was making all of his Twitter followers see red! Not the "see red" as in really mad, but the see red that supports World AIDS Day.

Chayanne, as well as many other Twibe members are followers of @JoinRed on Twitter. What is RED? Red is a collective of companies that have agreed to donate up to 50% of its profits to be used towards the purchase and distribution of anti-viral medication to men, women, and children in Africa that are dying of AIDS.

Chayanne started the filming of a new video today, he didn't tell us the song that the video is for, but.....if I were to guess...I would have to say "Mi Enamore de Ti". That song has been getting mad airplay since it's release. I would love to know how many units have been sold between Amazon.com and iTunes.

I'm telling you, if you're a Chayanne fan, and you're not following him on Twitter, you're missing out on half of the fun...the other half is getting to attend a concert and see him live!!! THAT my friends is the other half of ChayVille life that I am waiting to experience.

Chayanne Makes Every Woman Feel Like A Princess~

Just when you thought Chayanne couldn't get any sweeter....

On Sunday November 22, Chayanne sent a Twit Pic with a caption that said "Ustedes son mis pricensas...You are all my princess!!"

A "Tweet" and Then a "Re-Tweet" Made My Day! - Chayanne on Twitter!

When I woke up this morning the sun was shining, which was unusual because we've had two weeks of gray rainy weather! I Tweeted to the Twibe, "Today is going to be a great day!" And indeed it was. Chayanne Twibe member PrettyPenny shot off a tweet of all her favorite Tweet Peeps, Chayanne being one of them,Chayanne sent the re-Tweet and a subsequent tweet and I saw my name in both!!!

That Tweet warmed my heart...it really was a great day!

"Go Get 'Em Tiger!" Chayanne Sents Twit Pic and TwitVid From The Recording Studio

I don't know about you, but this was a really long week for me, it seemed to go forever. The Summer sun gone, replaced by dull gray skies, and rain....loads, and loads of rain....but when Chayanne smiles, the sun comes out!

Yesterday Chayanne answered the request of one of his many fans, RosaRF on Twitter. RosaRF asked Chayanne if he would send a picture of himself from the studio, and he Tweeted back..."OK"..and of course Twitter "Blew Up!"

Time passed, and no TwitPic..but I'm here to tell you Chayanne has the ability to know just what you need, when you need it. On that long commute home, I hear my BB give that sweet tone that says to me "Chay Tweet!", I look and there it is, the long awaited picture that he had promised.

And yes he looks good, even when he is going trey casual!

Peek-a-Boo, I See You!

That was the response to the photo that Chayanne shared with fans late today. Chayanne tweeted to the "Twibe" (fans that follow Chayanne on Twitter), that he has been in a photo shoot for the past two days. Yes my people, he's taking photos for his upcoming CD!

As you can imagine, after he tweeted that he was in a photo shoot, the Twibe tweeted so much requesting that he send a pic, that I really wonder how his cell phone didn't experience a case of spontaneous combustion! Although I'm really glad that it didn't, then he wouldn't be able to tweet. None the less, Twitter blew up with all kinds of requests for just a peek!

As Chay said so sweetly under the pic, "No se decirles q no, aca tienen una pequeña muestra del dia de hoy. I can't say no, here is a bit of today". Lucky for us that he didn't say no, how could he, after all we are as he calls us, "His Loves". This coming from the brotha' who's smile could launch 10,000 ships!

P.S. -Thank you Rosa for the headline, it was the best way to sum up this too cute pic!

All of you should know by now that I take it as a personal challenge to keep you as informed as possible about what's happening in Chayville. If You Blink.....You Just Might Miss Him!

If you've been keeping up with Chayanne, you know that his summer hiatus is definitely over. As recently as last week pictures were circulating of Chayanne on one of his morning runs that he has "tweeted" about lately.





It's no wonder that Chayanne has to keep in such great shape, not only is Chayanne working on a new CD, he's also managed to find the time to endorse a new cologne called "Brizza" This was first posted on one the Chayanne fan sites Lastremendasdechayanne(Forum) by Tremenda Pau.













Brizza is scheduled to hit the market Christmas 2009...don't get too excited though, from what I can gather the cologne will only be available in Mexico. I think it's only offered through a catalog.(If I find out more about how you can purchase Brizza, I will try my best to put it on the blog.)

Can you just imagine, Chay Sista's rushing to buy this cologne.....I can hear the Christmas morning conversation now, "Hey honey, I bought you think new cologne. I just love the way it smells, can you try it on for me?" All this while Competemente Enamorados is playing in the background *WINK*

Yesterday on Twitter Chayanne Tweeted Sorpresaaaaaaaaaaaaa corran a ver mi myspace....http://www.myspace.com/chayanneofficialsite... So of course we feverishly searched the site looking for the surprise! I have to admit that I missed it the first time, but thanks to a few of the Twitterers I was able to find the link.

Chayanne was really sweet though, he realized that some of his fans had didn't have access the the clip on his MSP, so he very kindly posted the link to the video on YouTube. This is just another way to see how Chayanne gives back, his many humanitarian endeavours speak for themselves.

And as for the way that he treats is fans, he just has this way of making you feel really special, you couldn't ask for any better than that~ Thanks Chay

Well, Papi Chulo has struck again! Not only was he tweeting with fans all day, but he even gave us another photo. He said that it was a pic of him reading all of his fans messages on Twitter.

All I can say is that I am so happy that I tweet! Chay, keep the pictures comin', we will never be able to get enough!

Chayanne is BLOWING UP On Twitter!

Ok, let me set the record straight, the only reason that I Twitter is because Chayanne got on Twitter....and you know if Chayanne is in, I'm trying to be in to. I've found that if you want to be up to date on all things Chayanne, you have to have to know where to go.

But until recently I didn't even know that you could upload pictures on Twitter, see my last post on Chayanne and TwitPic), now I have found out that Twitter has video! Can you believe it? Now hold on to your wig...or in some case tracks, you know what I'm talking about! Chayanne uploaded a video!

I won't talk much more about it I'll just let you see it for your self!

Chayanne, never ceases to amaze...just when you feel as if you're at the end of your rope, Papi gives us a little something to keep us hanging in there!

This week Chayanne gave us a lovely TwitPic of himself on vacation in Italy...as one wonderful Chayn fan put it....Lucky bird!
As if that wasn't enough he then proceeded to post a picture of himself in the pool...I'm assuming his pool....did I mention...wet! Ok, so you can see that...I just wanted to say it out loud!

Chayanne Does Twitter!

I have done MySpace, FaceBook, LinkedIn.....so when Twitter came along, I thought enough is enough! I can't do anything else! With all of the networking and social sites that I access my Blackberry is buzzing almost 24 hrs a day!

Then yesterday as I was browsing through Chayanne.net, as I do almost everyday....several times a day....we'll save that for another story...anyway, I come across a post that says Chayanne is on Twitter! So you can understand my delima....."To Twitter, or not to Twitter, that is the question." I'm a Chayanne fan, so of course I'm going to choose Twitter!

I have to add this one thing before I end this entry, I would like to think the Chayanne himself is doing the "Twittering". We all know that he has a wonderful staff and PR team that works for him, and from time to time they maybe the ones that attend to his MySpace page and Face book profile, maybe, who knows. But I would really like, no, I really hope that he is doing his Twitter. It makes fans feel good to think that you would share your day with them, even if just a little.~
