Chayanne, Love Like You've Never Seen

The crowd also discovered the daddy Chayanne.

These are some incredible shots of Chayanne and his lovely family spending some well deserved quality time.  What's so cool about all of it, is that they are genuinely happy....that means to all you nay sayers out there who are always trying to digg up dirt....give it a rest and go have some eggnog or something.

All of you know I don't speak Spanish, but I put the Google translation of the captions that were with the pictures on Univision. However....I also included the Pandoraese translations of some of the captions.

~Peace

Why Daddy? Because the Puerto Rican went with the whole family and see how great the kids are.

And soon, in a careless, our Chayanne became a grandfather.
(Pandoraese - Little mister seems to be cut out of the same cloth as his fine father....you're going to have to beat the little girlies back!)

Thus, we find Chayanne walking peacefully with his wife Marilisa.
(Pandoraese - Finally some time with my Baby!)

And Daddy Chayanne is an expert photographer. Look how he handles the little camera and the iPhone.

She is the real owner of the fortnights of Chayanne.
(Pandoraese - That's right ladies, he's mine ALL mine! Now watch me give Big Papi some sugar!)

But if the accounts do not fail us, we were in it only has two children, where did the others?

But the photographer not only discovered Chayanne the crowd who came that day at the toy store.
(Pandoraese - A girls first night in shining armor....her dad)

Chiquitos, large and medium star Chayanne is not letting it go to waste long. This regalote suertudota already had its Christmas in advance.
(Pandoraese - THIS sister right here just got herself an early Christmas!....how long do you think it's going to take her to stop smiling?)

And you see, after so much exercise and dance, to give time to walk as a tourist.
(Pandoraese - These boots were made for walkin')

And Chayanne is seen to be happy with your better half.Oh, how romantic!
(Pandoraese - Check it out ladies, this how you do it!)

The truth is that very few, very few times we see Chayanne interacting with his family.

The paparazzi came up with the perfect hideaway to catch photos of celebrities, those with children, of course. Whenever we see him dancing and on stage. This time he stopped to photograph next to his wife and children.

But do not be fooled. Chayanne is one woman man
(Pandoraese - That's right ladies...you can look but NO touching! LOL)

Chayanne is a very disciplined man, his relatives say that at least makes a workout and dance 8 hours a day.
(Pandoraese - I really want some of that chocolate over there....but that means I'll have to work out another hour tomorrow to keep my 8 pack.)

Ahhh, how cute. Also pleased his fans, who asked him photos.
(Pandoraese - One day this little sister will be old enough to appreciate this moment.....and then she'll faint)

The Puerto Rican singer is very jealous of their privacy.
And happy in question is it: Mariana Elizabeth Maronese de Figueroa, the famous Marilisa.
(Pandoraese - There is no question of happiness....it's a matter of fact. Enjoy your family sister girl)

The Stroke of His Life

This is a very interesting article about Chayanne and how he compares his life to a game of golf. He uses very clever comparisons and at the same time we learn so much about his artistic and personal life. Chayanne is a very disciplined person who always gives the best of himself not only to his family but also to us, his eternal fans! Enjoy!

To cover 18 holes of a golf course turns out to be the analogy that perfectly sums up life of the Puerto Rican singer Chayanne. Balance, strength, strategy and control are the elements that he applies to the sport, his career and life.
Thus he claims to assure us to have achieved several “holes in one”.
At his 42 years of age, his perfect moves have been his children 13-year-old Lorenzo, and 10-year-old Isadora; to obtain the excessive delivery of his public for the 32 years of his musical career; and the satisfaction of having with him two responsible people encouraging the values of humility, generosity and authenticity that distinguishes him as a human being, his parents Quintino "Tito" Figueroa and Irma Luz Arce.
For the vocalist, his family and his career are the inspiration to repeat this “putt" stroke for endless hours in the "green". And in the game of the life, his efforts are directed to seeking happiness.
Who does this artist with the most contagious and honest smile play against? Against himself!
And the fact is that both in the field of golf and on stage, Chayanne faces the challenges that bring on a heap of emotion, feelings and experiences, like he has faced during his world tour, “No Hay Imposibles“ which started last year and has already covered more than ten countries. This weekend the appointment is in his homeland, with three functions in the Coliseum José Miguel Agrelot in Hato Rey.
“Golf is a way of life ... the way you overcome a bad situation or a bad blow, how you control it. Golf is a primer for life. It relaxes you and simultaneously you are at war with yourself. You have to be better than yesterday and your last game”, stated the singer in an exclusive interview with El Nuevo Dia from his office in the “City of the Sun”.
“The challenge is to keep improving, in your life, to give a better show, better albums, be a better human being, father, husband, son, and friend. It requires balance, strength, strategy, control, and passion from oneself. It is a sport that you approach just like your career”, added Chayanne, who this weekend comes face to face with his presentations in his country.
He also stated that his success always depends on his state of mind.
“Once you enter this field you venture into another world. There is a lake in a certain place, you might also find an abyss with the sea at a distance, and you see another hole in the rocky mountains and the sun setting between the orange rocks and it reflects a light with a copper hue. It is not a question of game only”, he told us with his voice filled with enthusiasm as he confessed that he can spend hours talking about golf as it is one of his “passions”.
Similar to what he experiences in the field of this game are the emotions that he receives from his audience. These emotions are the ones who give life to the show.
“You can present yourself on the same stage and every mood is different. I have enjoyed theaters filled with 2000 people, coliseums with 15 to 20 thousand people, or stadiums with more than 80 thousand, I do not discard any of these scenarios because they each hold a very special and different satisfaction,” he said.
It is for this reason, that to set foot for the first time on the Coliseum’s stage in Puerto Rico fills him with anxiety, since it is there “where my parents, friends, and the public that propelled my career will be. I am super happy. We have begun with the right foot and what better place to be for Valentine’s Day weekend than in my homeland”.

He explained that the concert in the island has very different elements, such as a new choreography, a new song, and other surprises that may elapse between each presentation.
The voice behind “Y Tu Te Vas” spoke about why he doesn’t integrate other artists in his concerts. He said that he would love to someday do it, but he does not like to force things or situations. It hasn’t happened to date and when it does it should be something that comes naturally.
One of the names that first come to mind is the singer/songwriter Juan Luis Guerra. This desire has been on his mind since he heard the song “Ojala Que Llueva Café” (I wish it would rain coffee) two years ago in Venezuela and he said to himself “I want to record that song”. Juan Luis Guerra is an incredible success and this is a song that has moved many hearts.
Another person whom he professes great admiration for is to the maestro Ángel "Cucco" Peña. “The arrangements that he prepares are amazing. He is one of the greats”, he added.
Free of Scandals
Between laughs and smirks, the vocalist who makes women absolutely crazy with his suggestive choreographies, revealed that his formula to stay away from scandals is simple: “They do not know the things that I do. My formula is not to say it”, the artist joked, provoking the goof offs of his two brothers Elliot and Emanoel, who were observing him from one of the corners of his office.
In a more serious tone, he clarified that the key is “to try to maintain control, know what you can gain and lose from it. There is so much work that you have no time and it does not allow for you to do bad things”, he explained as they all exploded into laughter.
On the worries that he experiences as the father to Lorenzo and Isadora he said that they are the same as any other parent.
“I have many worries, but the task begins since the day they are born.” Giving them knowledge, which will be their self defense when they are alone. You teach a child to put a napkin on their lap when they are sitting at a table and the day that mom and dad are not there they will remember what you taught them and they will do it by themselves ”, mentioned the singer, who visits his family on the Island every Christmas.
He also added that his children have already shown artistic inclinations and no matter which career they choose they will always have his support.
“I will support every decision that they make and they will have my unconditional support. I will always be honest according to what I see”, added the singer, who in turn pointed out that his children have always understood his work.
He also acknowledged that the values that his parents instilled in him are the ones that he has taught his children. “I have taught them everything my parents taught me. Study first, respect and protect themselves, and always look out for themselves”, he concluded.

Chayanne Walks Around In Flip Flops And Shorts Around Condado

Many thanks to Bariloche for the translation!

This year it looks like he took a long one… (a vacation) and the ready lens of Primera Hora caught Chayanne once again, in Puerto Rico, but this time in shorts, rubber sandals and baseball cap.  He was on an outing with his wife Marilisa Marronese, his daughter Isadora and other family members at the restaurant Pelayo’s in Condado.

Chayanne, as he usually does, was driving his large family in his own jeep while he vacations in Puerto Rico.

Stoked.  That’s how fans, among them Eva Gadea and her friends, of the secretive and very incognito (though always friendly) idol were left upon seeing him exit the restaurant sporting his “batata power”.

Similarly, upon setting foot on the island, we captured the new Puertorican hall of famer Roberto Alomar, who arrived last Sunday at 1:00 pm on his private jet and with his staff at the Muñiz base in Isla Verde.

And in the gardens of La Fortaleza, in the midst of friendly conversation with Alomar, we also saw Luce Vela and Luis Fortuño.

This time take me out with a smile!, said the governor.

Also, in his dressing room at Centro Bellas Artes (CBA), we surprised Raymond Arrieta, who is touring the island with his comedy shows.

Additionally, in the traditional Kings Day party given by publicist Enrique Grau Pelegri we came upon Jose Aponte, Lissie Rosso, the cuatro-player Prodigio Clauridio, Zeny Bevaraggi, Marcos Rodriguez Emma and Kenneth McClintock.

Someone else the ready lens of Primera Hora surprised was Ivette Cintron (who looked great) with her new love, Emilio Morales.

Wilkins could not be missed, whom his publicist Enrique Grau Pelegri, could bring back from retirement in 2012 with the “25th Margarita Anniversary Tour”, as he commented.

Chayanne Celebrates With His Family In Isla Verde...And They Look Great!

Of Course!

With this spontaneous expression sounding almost like his brother Emanoel’s jingle – the one which he is using for his campaign while he runs for mayor of San Lorenzo as part of the New Progressive Party (PNP), a very sweet Chayanne agreed to pose with his brother for Camera Ready on Christmas Day, on the same day his brother Emanoel celebrates his birthday.

“This is the reason why I was named Emanoel, which means God is with us, because I was born on Christmas Day”, commented yesterday Emanoel Figueroa as he was interviewed by Primera Hora, and who was being honored in San Lorenzo too.
On Christmas, Chayanne had two good reasons to celebrate; one was his brother’s birthday and the other Christmas Day itself.  To celebrate, the singer visited a restaurant in Isla Verde with his family.
The vocalist and dancer arrived at the restaurant driving his own car and accompanied by his wife, the Venezuelan Marilisa Maronese, his son Lorenzo Valentino (who already looks like an adolescent), and his daughter Isadora Sofia.

Also present were his in-laws and his brother Elliot accompanied by his wife.  Emanoel was also in the company of his wife.  Chayanne’s brothers arrived in a separate vehicle which was following Chayanne’s car.
To everyone’s surprise, the Figueroa Maronese couple and the rest of the Figueroa gang arrived at the main vestibule of the San Juan Hotel, where the famous restaurant La Piccola Fontana is situated.
At the restaurant, the artist enjoyed a family style dinner which has now become a tradition for the Figueroa and Maronese families on Christmas day in Puerto Rico.

As usual, Chayanne was dressed impeccable and very much in style.  He had a two day old beard which looked fabulous on him, a dark suit (in this occasion the suit had pin stripes), striped gray shirt, and a tie with tiny black and maroon squares and white dots.  His wife Marilisa, who was Ms. Venezuela in 1988, was wearing a high end dress draped off one shoulder in a light blue tone with sandals.  Her hair was straight and blonde covering some of her face as she normally wears it.
The singer has been in Puerto Rico for a week now, where he had the opportunity to enjoy with his family in Cayey, and especially with his parents, Mr. Quintino and Mrs. Irma.  Actually, last week, various neighbors saw him taking a stroll with his dad in the small town he lives in.
When his Christmas vacation comes to an end in Puerto Rico, Chayanne will return to his intensive rehearsals to get ready for all the concerts that he will be giving in 2011, which will include a debut in the coliseum in Puerto Rico in February.
With March Anthony
Chayanne will also be in concert alongside Marc Anthony in the Olympic Stadium Felix Sanchez in the Dominican Republic on Mary 26, 2011.

Chayanne Anxious to Celebrate Christmas in Puerto Rico

Please enjoy the translation to this article from El Nuevo Dia.

Anxious to celebrate Christmas here

After 8 months of touring, the artist cannot wait to arrive at the island and see his family.
By María Ivette Vega Calles / mvega@elnuevodia.com

For the last eight months, Chayanne has tasted many emotions each time he takes the stage in a different city as part of his “No Hay Imposibles” tour.

But the artist assures us that now at Christmas time, he feels more jittery to come to Puerto Rico to celebrate with his family.

“On Saturday I finished the tour in Houston, Texas.  Now I am in the office working out a few things for next year.  I am happy, ready for Christmas and leaving to Puerto Rico.  You have no idea how I await the moment.  I enjoy my career, the shows, but when I spend months without seeing my family, my parents, I want to go.  Then the emotion begins to grab me and I am already at that stage.  I have a couple of more weeks in Miami and then I am going there with the same illusion of every year when this time arrives”, said the artist via a telephone interview.
Enthusiasm adds to the illusion and at the same time the nervous feeling that he feels with the approaching of his first show at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot, on the 11th and 12th of February 2011.

“I am going to Puerto Rico with my nerves at their ends, because my family and people who have known me since childhood will be there, so I ask myself ‘What am I going to come up with this year?’ but I am going with my heart in my hands.  Also, I remember the first time I played a show at Bellas Artes, then the Hiram Bithorn, that was another big one.  Now this is the first time that I am bringing my show to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico and it’s another challenge, its nerves because after so many years of playing shows in Puerto Rico, there is again another first time at a place”, he indicated.

Constant News
With 30 years in his career, Chayanne reassures that there is no time to get bored, not even while singing the same songs over and over again, because he says each moment is special on its own.  Nonetheless, I lament the incident that occurred in Argentina in October, where – for the second time – he had to cancel a show due to health problems.

“You make such a long tour and come to the moment where you say ‘I am human, not a robot’.  So you reflect and say I have an 8 month tour, I come from many countries, many cities and many flights, and you realize that you have to get better, that you are sick.  You think that if I play the concert I will let down many and the same if I don’t, I let down many as well, so you have to make the decision with the most common sense, for love and for the phrase ‘the show must go on’.  Things happen that are difficult, but you do your best and continue”, he indicated.
The artist will continue the tour until June of next year in Mexico and Chile, where he will also take part of the Viña del Mar festival.

In acting, there is currently no concrete Project.

The most recent in said discipline was new to him, since he brought voice to a character in the Disney movie “Tangled”.

”I had sung songs for various Disney movies, but i had never voiced any animated character.  It gave me great illusion, because I enjoyed very much the sound effects that I had to make when they punch you in the stomach, or when you took off running.  It’s a character with a lot of charm, did not have parents when young and is flirtatious but has a big heart.  His name is Flynn and he protects the princess”, he tells us.

As soon as the tour finishes, Chayanne will begin to work on his next album.

Chayanne, Getting His Holiday Party On!

Well for those who have been around Chayville for a while, we all know that he likes to take his Christmas and New Year's celebrations back home to Puerto Rico (That's how you do it Chay, the best times we spend are with our family)

Primera Hora.com was there and able to catch a snapshot of our beloved and his beautiful family. There he is in all his glory, and the First Lady is looking fabulous as always (I need her beauty secrets!) and the children are getting so big...somebody had Daddy's dimples! Time flies doesn't it?

Happy New Year to Chayanne and the entire Chayanne clan.....see you in 2010!
~Peace

Here is the link to the original article Primera Hora.com

But for all you language challenged people such as myself, here is a translation of the article that I found on Casa Chayanne! Thanks to Ethel for the mad translation skills!

Esooo. ..! He is in Puerto Rico and spending a wonderful time during Christmas!

One of the most loving, boricua Chayanne, arrived to celebrate these holidays along with his family and nearby friendships. The boricua star is prepared to say good-bye today to 2009, but as recent as last week he participated in a supper at an exclusive Italian restaurant in a luxurious hotel in the hotel zone of the capital. **

Chayanne (Elmer Figueroa) was seen, as usual, nice and accessible before the photographic lenses, offering his best smile and congratulations and even sending a greeting to the readers of this newspaper.

It is not the first time that the artist spends Christmas in Puerto Rico. It is a custom that he started practicing many years ago. He is always accompanied by his wife, the Venezuelan Marilisa Marronese, and their children Lorenzo Valentino and Sofía Isadora, who have grown a lot, as the images show. Lorenzo Valentino impresses one as looking like his mom, while Isadora Sofía seems more like her famous dad.

At their Christmas supper, the "clan" of Chayanne lit up, wearing elegant clothing for the occasion, being emphasized by the demeanor of the wife of the singer and dancer. Two of his brothers, Elliot and Emmanuel, also have taken advantage to share these days with the artist and the family.

This season is sacred for the family Figueroa, because they have the opportunity to enjoy the company of their parents, Mr. Quintino and Mrs Irma.

Through the years, Chayanne has always shown to be engrained in his roots. At this time he is accustomed to move to the residence that he maintains in one of the hills of Gurabo (old mansion of Menudo) that he acquired some time ago to spend these seasons near his family that live in San Lorenzo

The Puerto Rican singer paused in his professional commitments to spend these days here. It is expected that his next record production will be in February of 2010. In fact, he recently filmed the video of Me enamoré de ti, the first promotional single of the above-mentioned musical project. The cut is also the subject song of the soap opera Corazón salvaje.

The video, that presents images of a melodrama with Aracely Arámbula and Eduardo Yáñez, was filmed in the old Olympia Theater and under the direction of Henry Link, who already had worked with Chayanne for the videos of the themes Si nos quedara poco tiempo and Amor inmortal.

According to the boricua artist, his new disk will have dance numbers but romantic ones also.
**Note: The restaurant La Piccola Fontana, is located at the El San Juan Hotel and Casino in the area known as Isla Verde.
