Bright and early this morning, Latin Mega Star Chayanne, and my personal favorite hottie was making all of his Twitter followers see red! Not the "see red" as in really mad, but the see red that supports World AIDS Day.
Chayanne, as well as many other Twibe members are followers of @JoinRed on Twitter. What is RED? Red is a collective of companies that have agreed to donate up to 50% of its profits to be used towards the purchase and distribution of anti-viral medication to men, women, and children in Africa that are dying of AIDS.
There is a wonderful video that was going around today, it's called the Lazarus Effect. The Lazarus Effect is a documentary that is going to be aired on HBO in the spring of 2010.
You know that worst thing about HIV, is that there are so many people in the world that are infected and affected by this disease that at times it seems like there's almost nothing we can do to stop it....
but the indomitable human spirit and our ability to love and come together for a common purpose never cease to amaze me.
We are one race, the human race, and we all have the same color blood....red.
