If I didn't know the power and speed of information moving across the "World Wide Web", I know it now. Yesterday information about GIGANT3S, this is what was reported by Billboard Magazine (And if it's in Billboard you know it's HOT!)

Cordoba & Junin Rocked!!! -- NHI Tour Update

Chayanne is back with his NHI 2011 Tour and he does not disappoint this time around either.  The chosen stage for his comeback is Argentina.  On the 14th, 10,000 Argentineans came together at the Orfeo Theater in Cordoba to be delighted by Chayanne’s infectious rhythm.  As in all his concerts he sang many of his classics, Provocame, Salome, Caprichosa, and Atado a tu Amor, paired together with songs from his latest album No Hay Imposibles.

Following his success in Cordoba, Chayanne moved on to the Estadio del Club Atletico Sarmiento de Junin, where again, approximately 10,000 people gathered just for him.

But, a video speaks a lot more than anything I can tell you so here you go:

Stay tune for more coverage on the upcoming shows!

In Case Of Emergency...My Chayanne Survival Kit

Well my people, we're coming down to the place where the rubber meets the road....there are six show's left....twitter is starting to quiet down....and some man named Chayanne Toledo who has shall we say some shady activity going on right now!

All of the signs are there.....It's just about time....I can hang in there a little while longer....but soon...very soon....I'm going to have to break out my "Chayanne Survival Kit".

I know, I know, you want to know what's in my kit right? We will start with the basics: iPod (of course) Pre-Set Chayanne playlist(s), My DVD Collection, Skullcandy Headphones, and of course all the major hot spots for Chayanne "stuff" bookmarked as favorites on my computer.

So what's on my iPod? Every Chayanne anything that I can get on there! So let's break down the iPod.

Music....every single album that is available on iTunes (and some that are not...thank goodness for GREAT friends, mp3 files, and email!) What are my lists? 1. Baila (of course!); 2. Night Sounds (get busy music *wink*); and my third playlist....Healing (This is the playlist lat is the medicine for my heart when all else fails)

Video.....this is a funny subject! When I first started digging around the internet about Chayanne of course I lucked up on Anniee and Chayanne Rocks. When I realized that you could down load from Anniee's website, I tried to put as many videos on my iPod as I could! I was video crazy! Now I'm older and wiser....I have Chayanne Rocks listed as one of my favorites on my browser, and when I'm feeling Chayanne deprived I just pour myself a nice glass of wine and let myself get lost for hours at a time. With the addition of the "Provocame TV"....I'm in video heaven!

iTunes has every official Chayanne music video that's available. I like to support my artists so yes I bought each and every one! My favorites of course are in a separate video play list. (Guajira, A Tado A Tu Amor, Te Echo de Menos, Me Enamore de Ti, Boom Boom, Baila Baila, Alive, and Si No Estas) I'm still waiting for Chayanne to make a video for Dime and Siento *sigh*

DVD's....What's in the stash "Dance With Me" (My first love!),  "Volver a Empezar", "Vivo", "Grandes Exitos"....and if I'm really feeling needy....I break out "Gabriel"

I hope you've been book marking all of you favorite go to websites for Chayanne goodies and I hope that Pandora's Caja is one of them.

I'm going to leave you with just a few pictures that Fantasia posted on the Chayanne Gallery.....Much Love my people....

~Peace

Down To The Last Days..9 Shows Remain

The King!

I know you wish it could go on forever......but it's been over a year, and Chayanne has given 150% of himself for every single performance. He's given us more memories than we could have ever hoped for, and in that I include myself.
Through rain, sickness, and even power outages Chayanne brought so much excitements that his tour has continuously been on Billboards Hot Tour list. During the summer of 2010 Billboard Magazine even wrote an article that spoke to how many artists had to cancel their tours due to the state of the economy. People just weren't buying tickets. Such was not the case with Chayanne's "No Hay Imposibles" tour. This tour was hailed as one of the few to not must manage to keep going, but to thrive amidst an economy that had seen other mega stars cancel.

Chayanne has tweeted, and sent twit-vids during the entire course of the tour, giving us a back stage view that most times fans wouldn't be privy to. (Let's give mad thanks to Nancy O'Meara for keeping us hopped up on backstage twit-vids as well!)

Amidst all of the the concerts and traveling all across the U.S. and Latin America, not once, but twice! Chayanne has found the time as he always does to lend himself to all of the various humanitarian and educational causes that many people would over look. Most recently Chayanne participated in an amazing program for children ages 7 to 9 who are learning to speak Spanish. The program is called, "El dia E", and it is sponsored by the Cervantes Institute, which is located in New York.

El Día E, The Festival for all those who speak Spanish

cultural day

Over 450 million people speak Spanish. Spanish is now the world’s second largest language in terms of the number of native speakers, the second language of international communication and the third most used language on the Internet. Why not take one day a year for a worldwide celebration of the language that unites us?El Día E began as a project of the Cervantes Institute to celebrate its coming of age, to increase the visibility of the centers and, in turn, to disseminate Hispanic culture on the five continents. It has been held since 2009 on the Saturday nearest the summer solstice. During these two years, all of the Instituto Cervantes centers in the five continents -- from Sydney to Brasilia – have celebrated this day, extolling the greatness of our language and our culture. On Saturday, June 18, 2011, all of the Instituto Cervantes centers open their doors again for this celebration. This year, we want this cultural project to bring the vast wealth represented by those who speak our language to even more people. To this end, we are counting on the participation of major Spanish-speaking personalities, so that we can all take part in the pride not only in the speaking of our shared language, but also in knowing that we are represented by the most extraordinary figures in various fields of knowledge and the arts .We want to include in this festival all of those who speak Spanish, so that each year we have a day when we feel united by a common language and in the sharing of the vast richness of Hispanic culture.

"Love is the meaning of life. It is energy, joy ... love is everything, " says Chayanne, Puerto Rican pop star that romantic love has made one of their banners: "Tal Vez es Amour", " "Amor Inmortal"or "A Tado a Tu Amor" are some of the songs that have clouded the hearts of millions of teenagers"
(And a WHOLE lot of women who are..shall we say beyond their teenage years!)

Please visit the El dia E website to hear your favorite word in Spanish!

So what are you thinking about as the hottest tour of 2010-2011 approaches the end? I'll tell you what I'm thinking, "I gotta start saving for the next tour...and which two, or three shows do I want to got to!"

I'm off to listen to some more Spanish words....so far my favorite words are, "Quiero más de Chayanne!"

Chayanne Speaks of Panama with Love

Tonight's the night! Chayanne and crew have landed in Panama and are preparing to set the stage on fire! Not only are the people of Panama going to enjoy the show, they're also going to be able to help Chayanne celebrate his spot on "Billboards Hot Tours"

"Latin superstar Chayanne ranks third on the list with concert totals reported from four South American cities on his April tour schedule.  The first two shows were at venues in Ecuador with sellout crowds in both markets.  The first concert was held at Coliseo General Rumiñahui in the city of Quito.  The indoor sports arena sold 13,695 tickets for an April 7 performance.  A stadium show at Estadio Modelo Alberto Spencer in Guayaquil followed on the 9th with a sellout crowd of 20,911.  The following week the Latin pop singer played two concerts in Peru, first at Lima's Jockey Club on April 14 followed by a show at Jardin de la Cerveza in the city of Arequipa on April 16."

Chayanne shares this list with such world wide mega stars as Justin Beiber, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks,  Keith Urban, Elton John, Disturbed, Arcade Fire, Chris Brown, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, and James Taylor.

To get the people of Panama ready Chayanne sent out "Tweets of Love" yesterday, he said, " I do wish to thank the support and greetings of congratulations on the Billboard Award - Tour of the year! I feel very happy and this award is yours, who always supported my career and enjoy what we do ... THANKS! Getting ready to go to Panama! Let's have fun! My love, I speak when it comes to Panama ... spend a nice day."

With That said...people of Panama, hold on to your hats. This is going to be the best Chayanne party EVER!

Chayanne Is Back From His Mini Vacation - NHI 2011 Tour Update

Did I not say before Mexico is one lucky town?  I'll get to that in a little bit.  But first...

Chayanne is getting ready to heat up the stage again to make fans all over Latin America swoon and sing along to his tunes.  Evidence of the fact was his friendly twittering today.  We got everything from:

"My Loves, I will be back soon" to "Tomorrow I will be interviewing with various media, and then preparing for the Dominican Republic" and of course there was the friendly reminder of the impostors floating around in cyberspace, to which he tells us, we already know what his official sites are and should therefore not fall prey  ;-)

This friday, he will  perform on the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic alongside his long-time friend and fellow Puertorican superstar March Anthony.  To bring in a little Dominican flavor to the mix, the boys will be accompanied by former Miss Universe Amelia Vega, who was borned and raised in my beautiful homeland and whom many of you may not know, is the niece of our greatest artist, Juan Luis Guerra.

This is shaping out to be an amazing show.  Remind me why I am not going again??!!???!!

Oh right... grown-up responsibilities.... Oyyy.

But back to the task at hand.  Below is the latest tour schedule for Chayanne in 2011.
