Somebody rubbed the lamp and the genie of the "Latin Hottie Bottle" came out and decided to give us not one hottie, but THREE!

This only leaves me with one question.....exactly which concert(s) am I going to! Decisions, decisions, decisions.....any way, as always the ladies and I at the box will keep you informed with up to the minute details as more dates and information are available.
Chayanne is back with his NHI 2011 Tour and he does not disappoint this time around
either.The chosen stage for his
comeback is Argentina.On the 14th,
10,000 Argentineans came together at the Orfeo Theater in Cordoba to be
delighted by Chayanne’s infectious rhythm. As in all his concerts he sang many of his classics, Provocame, Salome, Caprichosa, and Atado
a tu Amor, paired together with songs from his latest album No Hay Imposibles.
Following his success in Cordoba, Chayanne moved on to the
Estadio del Club Atletico Sarmiento de Junin, where again, approximately 10,000
people gathered just for him.
But, a video speaks a lot more than anything I can tell you
so here you go:
I know you wish it could go on forever......but it's been over a year, and Chayanne has given 150% of himself for every single performance. He's given us more memories than we could have ever hoped for, and in that I include myself.
Through rain, sickness, and even power outages Chayanne brought so much excitements that his tour has continuously been on Billboards Hot Tour list. During the summer of 2010 Billboard Magazine even wrote an article that spoke to how many artists had to cancel their tours due to the state of the economy. People just weren't buying tickets. Such was not the case with Chayanne's "No Hay Imposibles" tour. This tour was hailed as one of the few to not must manage to keep going, but to thrive amidst an economy that had seen other mega stars cancel.
Chayanne has tweeted, and sent twit-vids during the entire course of the tour, giving us a back stage view that most times fans wouldn't be privy to. (Let's give mad thanks to Nancy O'Meara for keeping us hopped up on backstage twit-vids as well!)
Amidst all of the the concerts and traveling all across the U.S. and Latin America, not once, but twice! Chayanne has found the time as he always does to lend himself to all of the various humanitarian and educational causes that many people would over look. Most recently Chayanne participated in an amazing program for children ages 7 to 9 who are learning to speak Spanish. The program is called, "El dia E", and it is sponsored by the Cervantes Institute, which is located in New York.
El DĆa E, The Festival for all those who speak Spanish
cultural day
Over 450 million people speak Spanish.
Spanish is now the world’s second largest language in terms of the
number of native speakers, the second language of international
communication and the third most used language on the Internet. Why not
take one day a year for a worldwide celebration of the language that
unites us?El DĆa E began as a project of the Cervantes Institute to
celebrate its coming of age, to increase the visibility of the centers
and, in turn, to disseminate Hispanic culture on the five continents. It
has been held since 2009 on the Saturday nearest the summer solstice.
During these two years, all of the Instituto Cervantes centers in the
five continents -- from Sydney to Brasilia – have celebrated this day,
extolling the greatness of our language and our culture.
On Saturday, June 18, 2011, all of the Instituto Cervantes centers open
their doors again for this celebration. This year, we want this cultural
project to bring the vast wealth represented by those who speak our
language to even more people. To this end, we are counting on the
participation of major Spanish-speaking personalities, so that we can
all take part in the pride not only in the speaking of our shared
language, but also in knowing that we are represented by the most
extraordinary figures in various fields of knowledge and the arts .We
want to include in this festival all of those who speak Spanish, so that
each year we have a day when we feel united by a common language and in
the sharing of the vast richness of Hispanic culture.

(And a WHOLE lot of women who are..shall we say beyond their teenage years!)

So what are you thinking about as the hottest tour of 2010-2011 approaches the end? I'll tell you what I'm thinking, "I gotta start saving for the next tour...and which two, or three shows do I want to got to!"
I'm off to listen to some more Spanish words....so far my favorite words are, "QuieromƔsde Chayanne!"

As I listened to this interview, I couldn't help thinking to myself, how very special a person has to be for them to have achieved more success during their career, that shows no signs of slowing down mind you, than so many other artists will experience in their lifetimes and still remain so humble. I think that's one of the many qualities that Chayanne posesses that draw people to him like a magnet.
As Chayanne continues on with his killer "No Hay Imposibles" tour, which is fast approaching it's one year mark, Chayanne give an telephone interview promoting his tour that is making it's way to Ecuador.
As for Chayanne giving voice to the Disney character "Flynn Rider", in Tangled.....nothing short of magic, pure magic, something that I'm sure Mr. Disney would be proud of.
If your thinking about going to see Chayanne again, don't think about it too long. Buy your tickets, pack your bags and make your way......or you just might miss your chance....that is.......until the next tour!
For his singing strength, his deployment and energy on stage and his choreographed dances, the Puerto Rican singer Chayanne has been given the nicknames of Cyclone, Man Show and The Amazing One. He is aware of these nicknames and laughs with a bit of shyness as he remembers the words of affection that fans yell at his shows.
"Amazing? Nooooo," he says in a phone interview with a Miami newspaper (USA), town where he has been established since 1986. "I think I'm simple and it's normal for me to enjoy being on stage. They tell me that I am a different person when I’m on stage because normally I am very calm and relaxed. If I go to a party you'll see me sitting and watching, because I have big eyes to see, "he says and laughs again.
Chayanne was very chatty, and ready to openly talk about his role of being a father and husband. He says that he is very happy with the idea of going to Ecuador with new presentations. These are part of a tour that began in Los Angeles in March 2010 and aims to conclude in June this year in Mexico.
On his journey he claims that that nothing is impossible, referring to the record production that was released in 2010 and promoted. "There are no impossibles. One fights for the things he/she wants. It’s a positive expression because we have to keep fighting. I do not think that life is rosy, but everyone seeks happiness. These are the many moments of joy that make your life positive. "
The Puerto Rican who notes that nothing is impossible sings about love, couples, and parties. He confesses of being in a constant search for joy and traditions and to live fully. He gives himself fully in his shows and is very grateful for the affection he receives from the people.
"I'm grateful for what life has given me. Not that I'm laughing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but I try to find those moments which I hold on to in order to stay positive and when something unexpected comes up I learn from it and continue on my way.” For the No Hay Imposibles tour Chayanne began preparing since November 2009. He first called the musicians and dancers who would accompany him on the tour, which happen to come from different countries, and then picked dates for the rehearsals and started to structure the show.
"The show changes from one tour to the next. His staging, choreography, costumes, lighting, technology, sound (which depending on where he goes can be more rock, pop or island, in Ecuador it will be romantic pop). When 2, 3, 4 and 5 years pass you can implement what you’ve learned along the way. It's complex, beautiful and fun, but also has its stress. "Despite everything that is involved with the production, Chayanne expresses to enjoy the presentations and at the end of the cycle will resume the work that has been unseen. The work that takes place behind the scenes which starts by contacting the producers to record a new album.
And he also has, and thanks God, invitations to participate in upcoming new film productions. The most recent plot in which he gave his voice (dubbing into Spanish) to Rider Flynn, co-star of the Disney animated movie. "I did it during the tour," says Chayanne without hiding his excitement. "I was very illusioned with the project. When you go to Disney or a kid sees his film it creates a fantasy and then to be the voice of one of its cartoon characters is amazing. These are surprises that life gives you. “

Did I not say before Mexico is one lucky town? I'll get to that in a little bit. But first...
Chayanne is getting ready to heat up the stage again to make fans all over Latin America swoon and sing along to his tunes. Evidence of the fact was his friendly twittering today. We got everything from:
"My Loves, I will be back soon" to "Tomorrow I will be interviewing with various media, and then preparing for the Dominican Republic" and of course there was the friendly reminder of the impostors floating around in cyberspace, to which he tells us, we already know what his official sites are and should therefore not fall prey ;-)
This friday, he will perform on the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic alongside his long-time friend and fellow Puertorican superstar March Anthony. To bring in a little Dominican flavor to the mix, the boys will be accompanied by former Miss Universe Amelia Vega, who was borned and raised in my beautiful homeland and whom many of you may not know, is the niece of our greatest artist, Juan Luis Guerra.
This is shaping out to be an amazing show. Remind me why I am not going again??!!???!!
Oh right... grown-up responsibilities.... Oyyy.
But back to the task at hand. Below is the latest tour schedule for Chayanne in 2011.

Chayanne will offer a concert in Peru ~Translation by Candela
His concert will be at the Monumental Stadium in Peru in which he will promote his new songs as well as his greatest hits.
The Puertorrican singer, Chayanne, is returning to Peru after 7 years of absence and will offer a concert at the Monumental Stadium, on the east side of Lima. We were just informed today that the concert will take place on April 14, 2010.
El Comercio published that Elmer Figueroa Arce, better known as Chayanne, returns to Peru not only to promote his new CD but also to delight his fans with all of his greatest hits, songs that he hasn’t performed in this country in a very long time.
The organizers of this event have confirmed that Chayanne will sing “Salome”, “Provocame”, “Torero”, “Y Tu Te Vas”, and ‘Enamorado” just to name a few.
Chayanne started his worldwide tour, No Hay Imposibles, last year in which he demonstrates a great production with “Energy and wearing his heart on his sleeve”.
“With this new CD I want to transmit a positive, transparent message…this is the slogan of my life since I started...to face life with happiness, always looking at the future and to fight for what one loves” said the artist about his new CD.
On another note, the businessman, Jorge Fernandez, also declared that they are negotiating Ricky Martin’s performance in this same country. Ricky will begin his World tour “Musica + Alma + Sexo on March 25, 2011 in Puerto Rico. As of right now, Ricky Martin’s representatives are negotiating the appearance with Peruvian promoters.
