Chayanne, Marc Anthony, and Marco Antonio Solis, GIGANT3S Setting It Off In FL!

If Miami and Orlando, Florida were women, they would still be swooning, fanning themselves, and trying in vain to wipe the drool off their chins.....yes, Chayanne, Marc Anthony, and Marco Antonio Solis, set it off! You know a concert is tight when it gets a write up in Billboard on it's opening weekend!

Here's an excerpt from the Billboard article:

Marc Anthony, Chayanne & Marco Antonio Solis Deliver Once-in-a-Lifetime Sets at Gigant3s Tour

by Leila Cobo, Miami  |   August 07, 2012 11:20 EDT

In a world of showy tours and staging one-up-manship, music often seems to take second place to just about everything else. Not so with Gigant3s, the joint tour by Latin stars Marc Anthony, Chayanne and Marco Antonio Solís that launched Aug. 2 with two sold-out dates at the American Airlines Arena.

Gigant3s features three of the top selling male acts in Latin music, all dominant in specific subgenres (Marc Anthony in tropical and pop, Chayanna in ballads and up-tempo pop and Solís in Mexican ballads and pop) and all arena headliners in their own right.

Which means sharing a bill could have been a complex diplomatic mission. Instead, what audiences saw was democracy at its best: A single stage and a single set-up with just the musicians -- bands and headliners -- changing places. It made for smooth sailing, with each change-over taking no more than three minutes (seriously) and with singular focus on the musical performance rather than the props.............The show ended with Chayanne, performing with a more pared-down band and a team of dancers who ran the gamut from Broadway to burlesque, with Chayanne part of every move. The Puerto Rican singer went deep into his catalogue, mining tracks like "Dejaría Todo" and re-purposing "Lola" in a 1950s rock 'n' roll version. Most satisfying, though, was the maturing of Chayanne's voice, which has come to its own in both expression and body.

So that's three shows down and twelve more to go! So who's next?

Fri Aug 10
IZOD Center - East Rutherford, NJ
Sat Aug 11
Mohegan Sun Arena - Uncasville, CT

I have to admit, that I'm extremely excited about this tour, three for one you can't beat that. And what makes it so wonderful is that Chayanne, Marc, and Marco, are genuinely enjoying working with one another.

I was talking with my mother about the concert, and of course this gave her the opportunity to talk about her favorite hotties from her youth, Jackie Wilson, James Brown, and her all time favorite Lou Rawls. She told me how back in the day singers would travel and perform together all the time, and people loved it!

I think people still love it and the success of Gigant3s is proof. I have no doubt that when August 17th comes I'm going to enjoy seeing Marc and Marco perform, this will be my first time seeing either one of them in concert.....but I'm waiting with much anticipation to feel my pulse race, and my heart skip a beat when my six foot something, tall drink of sexy hits the stage!

Follow Us On: Twitter, Facebook, AND you can follow our new YouTube Channel

Our YouTube Channel is a work in progress but we hope that we'll be able to keep you connected with what  everyone's watching.

I'm sending a shout out right now to all the Gigant3s fans who'll be lighting up Facebook and Twitter this weekend. Don't forget to holla at'cha girls from "The Box".

"If This Is To Be Our End" Chayanne's Whirlwind No Hay Imposibles Tour Closes With Last Show In Oaxaca

"If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end as to be worthy of remembrance." ~ King Theoden From  the Lord Of The Rings, Two Towers

October 29, at the Auditorio la Guelaguetza, in Oaxaca, Mexico Chayanne ended his 18 month run of "No Hay Imposibles. I didn't have the pleasure of being at the last show, but from the looks of the pictures, the tweets, and video uploads, Chayanne ended his tour the EXACT same way that he started it.....HARD CORE!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there have been very few concert tours that landed on Billboard's "Top Ten Tours" every week that they had a show. Can your mind wrap itself around that? REALLY? That means that of all the tours being held over the last 18 months that NHI placed in the top ten based on Total Gross, Show Dates, Show Venue/City (Shows/Sellouts), Total Attendance (Capacity).

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that there have been very few concert tours where there has been such a strong sense of connection from the artist, to the dancers, the musicians, crew and the fans. Thanks to the advances of the social media outlets, we were able to share tweets and videos from Chayanne and Nancy's behind the scenes clips, to the very well put together video clips made by the dancers.(Belly Buttons don't die! They multiply!)

I know I can speak for myself, my very dear friend Anniee Renes of Chayanne Rocks, and the incredible ladies of Pandora's Caja when I say that we had a blast with Nancy O'Meara and her first ever fan driven interview. Nancy you are amazing....and you Dazzle! Our interviews with Brandon Barton and Marcus E. Mitchell (go ahead and scream they are super fine hotties!)

Pandora's Caja over the last year has been a blast! It started out with just me and now I have the great pleasure of working along side five incredible sister's in the cause, Bariloche, Candela, Fantasia Chayane (who almost single handedly makes Pandora's Caja page on FB run like a well oiled machine! Besos!) Glamour Girl, and La Guerita. These ladies are the heartbeats of the box.

Yesterday Chayanne sent this beautiful message to his fans via twitter and email:

"Today I share with you a sense of excitement and gratitude. "No Hay Imposibles" (Nothing is Impossible), my tour, has just ended and I'm happy to have shared it with you, in every country, every city, in every heart. Only your love, your energy and your support makes it possible for me to be there for you.

For over a year and a half I enjoyed every loving detail I received on stage, in hotels, airports, wherever I went.  It is a sign of your affection and you're all very well loved in return. I'd also like to thank the media from all around for their support and respect. Now begins a new phase for me and new projects, which I will soon be sharing with you.

Hug,

Chayanne"

Personally this has been 18 months of unexpected things, some good, some not so good, and then there were the things that that only sweet dreams are made of. There's only one thing that could be better than all of this.......and that I think I'll keep to  myself ;)

Peace~

Hot Off the Press: Billboard's Best of 2010 Released. Chayanne, Aventura & Enrique Iglesias Rule!!

Hips are not the only ones that don’t lie… Neither do the Billboard Charts.  This week, the official End of Year charts were published by Billboard for the best of 2010.  Many of Caja’s favorites made it big this year.  Of course I must begin with Chayanne (I know you saw that coming!).  It does not surprise me at all that his album No Hay Imposibles put him on the top 10 of almost all the pop charts.  The album, which was released on February 23, 2010 along with its first single Me Enamore de Ti have sustained good numbers through the year, which I am sure is the result of the fact that
1) The album absolutely rocks and…
2) The accompanying tour was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

In summary, Chayanne reached the following position in the Latin Music Charts:
Chart                                   Position
Latin Pop Songs                 #6  out of 25
Hot Latin Songs                 #36 out of 75
Hot Latin Songs Artist       #21 out of 50
Top Latin Albums              #8 out of 75
Top Latin Album Artist      #16 out of 50
Latin Pop Albums              #5 out of 20
Latin Pop Album Artist      #6 out of 10

Let’s hope that these showings serve as a wakeup call for a certain award committee. *wink*

The undisputed rulers of the Latino charts this year are Aventura and Enrique Iglesias.  Aventura are nicknamed the Kings and that they are.  The album The Last, released on June 9, 2009 has taken the #1 position in the Top Latin Albums, Top Latin Album Artist, Tropical Albums and Tropical Album Artists, Tropical Songs and Tropical songs Artists.  I know you’ve found yourself signing “Dile al amor, que no toque mi puerta…” more than once.  The song Dile Al Amor also ranked #4 in Latin Pop Songs, and #3.

Topping the Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Songs chart is Enrique Iglesias and Juan Luis Guerra with their hit Cuando Me Enamoro, (found in this album Euphoria, released July 6, 2010).  Euphoria, his comeback album after a 3 year hiatus, also holds the #1 position in the Latin Pop Albums chart and Latin Pop Album Artists and the #2 position in the Top Latin Albums chart.

Other notables include Alejandro Sanz, whose Paraiso Express  (released April 27, 2010) granted him the#25 position in Hot Latin Songs Artists and the #17 position in Latin Pop Albums.  Mark Anthony rounded #3 position in Top Latin Albums, #2 position in Latin Pop Albums and #2 position in Latin Pop Album Artists for Iconos

I am personally very happy to see where the top of the charts laid this year.  2010 was a very good year for Latin Music and all chosen artists are well deserved.  Here’s to hoping 2011 will be equally amazing.

Chayanne, Cover of Billboard Today....Grammy Winner Tomorrow

As you may or may not know by now Chayanne is gracing the cover of the January 30 issue of Billboard Magazine...Chayanne is really making this magazine look good! Anyway, the interview gives a hint of what is to come on Chayanne's next tour, and it also goes into great length about why Chayanne chose to stay with Sony Records.

On a personal note, 2010 is going to be a great year for Chayanne.  I anticipate a killer CD, chart topping record sales, followed  by a monster tour......when we get to this time next year in 2011...I want to see Chayanne getting a Grammy!

Do you hear me Grammy people?....Anyway.....Concert this summer....see you there!

Goce~

Without A Gap:  Chayanne comes back strong this 2010.

The last exceptional disk that we listened to was "Mi Tiempo" in 2007, the same year in which he embarked upon a tour of 25 cities.  In 2008 he recorded "Chayanne Alive", that was filmed during his concert in Buenos Aires .  Subsequently we saw him as an actor in the Mega TV series, "Gabriel".  In 2009 we did not know a lot about the boricua the star, because for some months he was enjoying his well deserved holidays.  But the days of rest remain behind because this year the talented artist counts on quite a tight agenda that includes the launch of a disk and an extensive tour.

Elmer Figueroa (his baptized name) is one of the kindest singers and workers in the industry, which is why it does not surprise me to see as many fans as he has around the world.  All those that have missed Chayanne will be happy in February.  The 23rd of said month he will launch his disk "No Hay Imposibles", material from which he launched the single "Me Enamoré De Ti".

Finishing the promotion of the album, Chayanne will embark upon an international tour.  According to Billboard magazine, the singer will offer a series of concerts divided into two parts.  The first one will be between May and June, then he will take a recess during the World-wide soccer tournament and later will appear in Mexico in July.  The second phase, in autumn, he will tour in Latin America and Europe .

This time the fans will obtain a lot more with their concert ticket.  Leila Cobo, Director of Latin American Content of Billboard reports, that the ticket "will include personalized material for each country... the consumers will obtain access to a web page where they will find content as videos, music and photos."  Normally Chayanne does not have a problem filling the localities where he is presented, but this will serve as greater encouragement.

When I think about the presentations of Chayanne, the word that comes to my mind is 'energy'.  During approximately two hours, the singer does not stop singing and dancing courting his fans even more.  The last time that I saw him platform (3 years ago) I had two girls beside me that cried each time he sang one of his ballads. Seeing their enthusiasm, I let them know it and they were almost fainting with emotion.  Seeing Chayanne in person is a total experience, and more still for his faithful followers.  My favorite part is when he sings old themes like "Tiempo de Vals" or "Provócame". What do you like about Chayanne’s concerts?
