Press Release: Chayanne is on Break!

Just because he looks and feels like Superman doesn't mean he is...

In the past few days, it's been alleged that Chayanne will be making an appearance in Iquique and at the Vina del Mar Festival in Chile, but they are just that... allegations.  Chayanne's team issued the following press release today to put an end to the rumors:

Press Release

No Hay Imposibles, the triumphant tour by the music icon Chayanne has just come to a close with great success.
After intense months of preparation during 2009, the tour opened in March 2010 and traveled through Latin America, The United States, The Caribbean, and Spain until it closed in October 2011.
It is estimated that over 4.5 million people enjoyed the show of the Puertorrican singer, in 127 shows which were performed night after night, week after week, by a dynamic and romantic Chayanne, who accompanied by his band of 10 professional musicians, 8 dancers and a team of 40 people, excelled for each show to be the best.
We’d like to inform that Chayanne will not be in Iquique or the festival in Vina Del Mar, as it’s been stated by some publications in the last few days.  For now, he will take a well deserve break and plan for the future.

And there you have it.  I know its innevitable for us to dream, hope and imagine that we will have more Chayanne to come this soon but let's be realistic.  Let's let our prince rest, re-energize, and let his creativity run wild so that when he is ready to come back to us we will be wooed, amazed and crazy with anticipation.  Fruits always taste much sweeter when they are ripe.  Let's let our delicious "Chayanne tree" grow his fruits until they are ready to be picked and devoured.  :-)
