On June 28, 1968, a star was born. Elmer Figueroa Arce took his first breath and I am sure that when he cried it sounded like a beautiful melody. From a very young age, his mom began to call him Chayanne and this name has stayed with him throughout his life and it has become a name that we all know and love. Today, 43 years later, Chayanne is celebrating another amazing year of life and as one of his biggest fans I have to celebrate. Chayanne, on your birthday I celebrate your life, your career, your achievements, and above all the incredible human being that you are. Chayanne, you are a person that truly believes that there is no happiness in having or getting, but only in giving. I had the pleasure of meeting you this past year and for this experience I am a better and much happier person. I don't think you really know how much you mean to us and how you inspire each and every one of your fans daily. Today on your birthday I want to thank you for being the positive person that you are and for always giving your fans the very best of you.
