Do you want to know what I think is so entirely cool? That after all these years when presented with an opportunity on the fabulous Wendy Williams show, Vanessa Williams has the primo opportunity to talk about Chayanne and she takes it! Not only does she take it, she provides the opportunity for the ladies in the audience to chime in with their elated sound of recognition when she's talking about her movie dance with me and she says, "You remember Chayanne? Gorgeous Puerto Rican star." Well of course we remember!
I thought that this was just adorable. Chayanne gets asked about the movie Dance With Me all the time, but this is the first time that I've heard Vanessa talk about the movie since she's did the press for the movie. What's exciting is that she gives Chayanne his props. Kudos Vanessa.
So it seems that Vanessa is going to be on Dancing With The Starts this season.....so tell me people, what do you think...do you think we can get a DWM sequel? At least a Director's Cut release! A girl can dream can't she.

ReplyDeleteVanessa is such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I would have liked for her and chayanne to do a recording together, like 10 years ago, but it was not to be. It does not matter, I saw the movie, I bought the dvd and the sound track and I watch the movie, and listen to the sound track all the time.

I think we all would like to know what happened to the dance studio, if Rafael and his father had a good relationship; if he and Ruby got married or did she move to Chicago; if her son followed in her footsteps as a dancer. There so many unanswered questions.

ReplyDeleteWhat we need is some more sweet Latin dancing! So hoping Chayanne and Vanessa will team up again as Rafael and Ruby. It would be great to hear them sing together again.. "You Are My Home" is a beautiful song. I saw this movies several year ago but not in the way I see it now. I saw Chayanne as pretty cute, then I took another look, shouted to my daughter (isn't he the most beautiful man you ever saw)? In all my life I'd never seen a beautiful man until Chayanne. We are so lucky to have him in our world!!!
ReplyDeleteYou Are My Home song by Chayanne and Vanessa Williams is one of the most beautiful ballads I have ever heard! I can't believe it wasn't number one on charts. It needs to be released again. Two beautiful and outstanding talents who deserved more recognition than they received for the movie and video.

I saw the movie dance with me when it first came out. I had not seen it since then. In February of this year (2011), it came on T.V. so I watched it again, as I did not remember anything about. Well I can tell you I have watched that movie at least twice a month since then, also my daughter. It was a great movie, Vanessa acted and danced her parts amazingly, Chayanne along with being handsome, sexy, and charming played his role well opposite Vanessa. I know it got mixed reviews, we have to realize what kind of movie it was, a romantic story. The only thing I am wondering is, was there ever a directors cut and if so is it available, or has too much time passed.

DeleteI agree! It was such a great film! I just finished watching it for the first time. It was on tv randomly! Definitely is now one of my favs. I couldn't help but smile throughout the film! I hope they make a sequel!
