This is a short but adorable interview done the other day with Chayanne on El Nuevo Dia. The parts that I like the most is that Chayanne confirms what we've know all along, that he's a simple man, with simple needs, that just want to make sure that all the other people in his life that's he's responsible for are comfortable and well taken care of......and the fact that that he's he's stopping into Colorado to get to Chile....do think that's mere coincidence? I would say not! Right Anniee!! *WINK*
So to all you people who might happen to be at one of the Colorado airports...if you happen to see a tiny gringa standing in the middle of some indiscriminate runway with a "Welcome Chayanne to Colorado" sign....please don't call the police, that's just Anniee try to get her Chayanne on!

You have promised your fans to give three concerts correct?
Chayanne: What happens is that I promise less in order to give more, because sometimes you promise and promise and promise and then you can’t keep it. The only thing I wish for is for the people to enjoy themselves, be happy and enjoy a moment of present memories, love, very beautiful. I always try to live up to the public’s expectations, always try my best because every night is different even if you perform at the same location. It’s all about energy and holding my heart in my hand, and it comes from the heart with a lot of love in each of my presentations. Everything in Puerto Rico will be bigger, bigger stage, more lights, more equipment, more dancers, and more music. And it’s all because I want to give the people that saw me grow up everything I that I can. I am happy, I was a little nervous when I arrived, but I am doing well.
Tell me about this concert.
Chayanne: Well, in Puerto Rico I cannot leave out songs that were very promoted such as Provocame, Lo Dejaria Todo, Atado a Tu Amor. I check what songs are on the line up and then you start adding other songs. I remember Completamente Enamorados was a huge success here, and also I will be adding a musical tribute to Puerto Rico so there are going to be many surprises. So expect this show to be totally different than the others because this is my country, or should I say our country because when I am elsewhere I call Puerto Rico my country, but since I am here now I must say, our country. The dancers are coming in from Los Angeles today, the musicians are also coming in, and a charter with all my crew came from Mexico yesterday.
Tell me what Chayanne has in his dressing room? Are you a difficult person to please?
Chayanne: No, I am easy…I say “yes” to everything (laughs) Don’t get me started (laughs).
No really, I like to have water, Gatorade, natural juices if it’s possible, but I don’t ask for much. I normally ask more for others than for myself. After Puerto Rico, I will be returning to Miami, then fly to *Colorado, to Chile for ViƱa Del Mar. So on Monday I will be with my family but then off to my travels again.
Do you remember an anecdote from a special Valentine’s Day that you spent with your loved one, the way it should be, with your wife?
Chayanne: I had a surprise in Venice; I was just getting back from Spain and didn’t know she was in Venice. When I got t here she surprised me with dinner, restaurant, flowers, everything was set up. By talking or with nice gestures I always try to work on my relationship no matter what.
Just to clarify...Chayanne is flying to Colorado to get to Chile...but it's close enough
