Catching Up On All The Chayanne!

Ok, it's been a few days since the last blog entry, and believe it or not a good dbit has happened in Chayville!
This past weekend, Chayanne was a participant in a telethon in Mexico to help children with cancer. Chayanne sent a Tweet to the "Twibe" to tell us when he was about to go on! How cool is that? VERY!  The fist song Chayanne sand was his new single "Mi Enamore de Ti" the them song from the telenovella "Corazon Salvaje".
I was lost in the sauce! Until we get to see the new video that Chayanne tapped recently, we will just have to do with watching these videos over and over and over again....now is that going to be so hard? I think not *WINK*

Then today as if I wasn't Chayanne happy enough, there was an article posed by Informador.com.mx (Click to readd the original article) I'm sharing the translated version that was posted on Casa Chayanne by Ethel

The Puerto Rican artist sharpens the final details of his next disk, the same one that presents a new sales strategy.

Mexico City.- Perfect Balance.

That it is the idea that Chayanne tried to always implement in his career, especially because this fluctuates between the musical creation and the offerings to act, two facets that have permitted him to be known in distant borders.

But to maintain this balance does not only require a hard effort. One must also know how to say "no". And, therefore, Chayanne did, when he decided not to accept the proposal from the televisión producer Salvador Mejía to be a part of the melodrama Corazón salvaje (Wild Heart) with a small role, whose main theme, Me enamoré de ti is interpreted by the boricua.

The "no" came supported by reasons of weight. The main one is that the singer is giving the last details to his next record production, that even though it does not yet have a title, it already has a date to go on sale: February 23, 2010.

Chayanne explains that "as far as the disk I do not believe I'm able to do any acting, invitations have been made, above all for the project Corazón salvaje, but it is not known when it will be finished, I am working on the disk, they invited me and honestly I do not believe I have the time."

Television can remain dull for now in the life of the Puerto Rican, therefore his priority now will be to give form and name to his sonorous project.

The fruit of discipline

The next disk of Chayanne, number 22 in 25 years of career, included the participation of various producers, among them Julio Reyes, José Gentile, René Toledo and Sebastian Chris, and was recorded in Miami and Los Angeles.

The details of how it sounds is guarded. Chayanne does not give any information, although he does not deny that the disk can finally be baptized with the name of the first single, Me enamoré de ti. Yes, the idea was born upon finishing the recording of the miniseries Gabriel, where the artist gave life to a vampire. "I liked to suck blood -he explains-, and it went well for me, it was a pretty production. The histories of vampires are always fascinating.

I am a fan of the Batman, Superman comics, Batman, I always wanted to be a superhero and in this I could live that fantasy, but well entertained. The production was marvelous, with very good treatment on the part of special effects".

Chayanne explains the plot, sprinkled with a lot of action as well as romantic elements: "It is a retrospective history, it goes from the current part to how they became vampires, and everything that happened and that great love that always accompanied them for those 300 years".

The Gabriel series - has not arrived on Mexican television, but it is expected to premiere soon through pay TV or DVD format - was the first project of the boricua in seven years since his participation in the Argentine soap opera Provócame.

The working days in television will be one of the things that he will not miss, although he accepts that the challenge fascinated him: "I was working from five in the afternoon till five in the morning during all this time, we recorded in Italy, in Puerto Rico, in Miami. The proposal arrived after the tour Mi tiempo, and I was exhausted, so I accepted because it was a very pretty project, and only required four months of filming".

Chayanne indicated that he will return to Mexico next February to promote the album, and will initiate a tour that will support his new disk in August or September.

Will fight against pirating

Although he did not work in Corazón salvaje, Chayanne will face the pirates, but not in reference to the ones that were leveled in the Mexican Caribbean two centuries ago, but the ones that sell their disks in street stalls.

To face this problem, the Chayanne's record house launched a promotion of presale of the album, the same that begins today, and that consists of the anticipated purchase of the complete disk during December. The fans that purchase it will obtain as a gift a greeting from the artist, besides two versions of the single Corazón salvaje, the album version and salsa. "As an extra gift we did Me enamoré de ti with a salsa version, kind of out of the framework of what I do musically, I have done salsa, I have sung a waltz, we always try to risk another kind without leaving a lot of what I am, and keeping within those limits this disk will contain very romantic songs, without clearly losing the sound of the dance numbers that we like so much and which the public moves along with me on the stage," indicated the boricua.

The complete album of Chayanne's new production will go on sale starting February 23, the date in which his new recording will go on sale officially (and will not include the salsa version or the greeting, these special elements are for the presale promotion)."

The entire article is awesome, but did anyone get that very last part? All I saw was pre-sale, December, extra gifts...I just have to tell you I did look around on the internet today, but I didn't see any add for pre-sale yet, but I'm going to keep my eyes open!

By the way...if you happen to see a brotha or a sista, selling Chayanne's new CD from the trunk of the car, it's not legit people.....the only Chayanne we want is the real Chayanne....

~Peace
