Premios Juventud is an amazing award show which breaks all the rules because it is YOU, the fans, who choose the nominees. You can begin nominating your favorite artists, movies, actors, and soap operas right now! The only requirement is that the nominees must be Latino and meet a specific eligibility period which is March 16, 2010 to March 15, 2011. They will count each and every vote and those with the highest number of votes will become the nominees for this year’s Premios Juventud, simple right? So if you want the show to be tailored to your liking make sure you vote. The voting already started and will run until April 7. We still have a little over a week so don’t waste any time and go vote now! On May 12th the official list of nominees will be announced and then you will have the chance to vote for the winners.
Please note that the only votes that will count are those made on the main page of Premios Juventud. Please note that your votes in Facebook and Twitter will not count. You will have to register in order to vote in all the different categories. Registration only takes a minute and it’s so worth it, I mean this is the least we can do to support our favorite artists right? The categories that you can vote in are Film, Music, Sports, Soap Operas, and Culture. The one category that I am very interested on is Music of course! Why because I nominated Chayanne for pretty much all of its categories. For example I nominated him for the way he moves (so hot), his amazing voice (so sexy), song that I can’t get out of my head (pick your favorite Chay Song from his new album – I know hard to do! I also nominated him for favorite CD, his amazing tour, favorite ballad, and favorite pop artist.
I personally think Chayanne should win each and every one of these categories and honestly if we, his fans, step up to the plate and vote our little hearts out, he has a huge chance of winning. One thing about Chayanne’s fans is that we are loyal and we support him with every project, every song, every tour, well yeah pretty much with everything. And don’t think that our support goes unnoticed, Chayanne always voices the love and gratitude that he has for his fans. I always wondered if anyone else other than Chayanne notices our love and undying support and my answer, of course they do, just look at what Nancy O’Meara had to say in her interview with Pandora’s Caja: “I must admit of all the artists I’ve been so fortunate to work with Chayanne has the best fans…”. So there you have it my friends, we are the best fans around so let’s show Chayanne just how much we love him and the best way we can do this is by voting for him in Premios Juventud and spreading the word!
