For Chayanne, NOTHING is impossible. Not even an almost 1.5 year long tour. It was recently announced that the very successful No Hay Imposibles (NHI) tour will continue through 2011.
Yes. Rejoice. Jump up and down, move it all around and do your happy dance… God and his music angels heard your prayers. Chayanne will continue to delight on stage. Following a very successful year in his career, 2011 is shaping out to be very wonderful for Chayanne. With the tour continuing, there is also Enredados (The Spanish version of Tangled), the new Disney movie in which he lent his voice to bring Flynn Rider, the handsome main character to life. Now if only 2011 would also open the Latin Grammys Committee’s eyes to realize that Chayanne is and will always be one of best and most successful artists of our time and that he deserves a lot more praise than he has gotten in the past from said committee… the Latin Music world would be PERFECT. But until that happens (and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it happens as his latest album No Hay Imposibles should qualify for the 2011 Grammy Awards), let’s focus on the now.
Though not yet confirmed, there are hopes that Chayanne may participate in Festival Viña del Mar, which as you all may know is the largest music festival held in Latin America. There is also talk of his return to Argentina, Venezuela and other Central American countries and of course, the Caribbean. I’m personally hoping he returns to the Dominican Republic since I am long due for a visit home and need just a little… Inspiration. Haha. But for now and until things are confirmed, let us not speculate too much.
Here are the confirmed dates of Chayanne’s 2011 performances and links to buy tickets. You know… in case any of you happen to be inconspicuously planning a vacation to any of these countries around the day he will be performing there ;-):

EEESSSOO!!!!
Now really there are many many chicas up here in the Pacific Northwest that really wish Chay would include us in his world tour. Look, he has included everybody else, the midwest, the east, the south, lots of California, Arizona, Texas, etc. Let alone the rest of the world. But us, we girls who live up here with the mountains, the ocean and the rain, no Chayanne for us???
ReplyDeleteI don't know, what did we do?? We love on him just as good as anyone else smile, smile!! And he should have pity on us, we have dark, dreary days and nights to look forward to this winter, it would be so very nice to think that this beautiful man with the most unforgettable sonrisa ever would come visit us this spring too.
Hear us calling you Chay, yes, yes, us girls that live in what some say is "Alaska South", come sing for us too, PLEASE!!!!!!
I love it that you finished with EEEEESOOOOOOO!!!!! :)
ReplyDeletePS: If he does hear Kita and goes to the Pacific Northwest, then I know where I'm going on my next vacation ;)
