You would have to had been living under a rock to not know about the devastating earth quakes that have hit Haiti recently. This is one of those moments where the people of the world can put aside there petty differences (race, religion, etc.) and come together to do something really incredible.
There are two concerts scheduled, the first one, the "Hope For Haiti Concert" scheduled for Friday January 22, 2010 at 7 pm on all the major stations, MTV, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CNN, BET, HBO, the CW, VH1, CMT and other networks around the world. The second concert is being hosted by Don Francisco, host of Sabado Gigante, is called "Unidos por Haiti. (See Unidos Por Haiti) This concert is scheduled for Saturday January 23, 2010 at 6pm on Univision. This effort has gathered together some heavy hitters as well, Alejandra Guzman, Chayanne, reggatonero Daddy Yankee, David Bisbal, Gloria Estefan, Graciela Beltran, Luis Fonsi, Natalia of La Quinta Estacion, Olga Tanon, Pee Wee, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Thalia and Willy Chirino.
No matter what Chayanne is doing, no matter is going on, if there is a need that he can fill to help the people of the world, he will do it. Chayanne is truly a kind, gentle, and giving soul.
