Nominate Chayanne! Premios Juventud, Let's Make it Happen!

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's that time of year again, time to nominate Chayanne for the 2012 Premios Juventud (Youth Awards).

The Premios Juventud is a unique award in that the nominees that the winners are all selected by fan vote. So you know what this mean, it means that all of Chayanne's fans from around the globe need to rally together and get out the vote!

So how does the nominating process work? You have from now until April 5 to log on to the Univision.com website and nominate your favorite artists and their music. If you have not already registered for a user name and password for the Univision website, you will have to register for one before you will be able to vote.

May 10th you will be able to return to the Univision website and cast your votes for the artists that have been selected, via fan vote.

A Fan's Eye View: Premios Oye Special Tribute To Chayanne

On February 9th Chayanne was honored during the Premios Oye! Awards for his no less than stellar 30 year career in the entertainment industry.

The awards were established in 2002 by the ANAMUSA (Academia Nacional de la Música) in order to reward composers, artists, record companies and every person who is involved in the music industry. This recognizes the very best of musical production without counting the position where the artists charted in the Mexican Albums Chart.

The equivalent of Premios Oye! (Spanish, meaning "Hear! Awards") to the United States's Grammy Awards. It is telecast by Televisa in Mexico through its Canal de las Estrellas and on Univision in the USA.

Many thanks to Uber Chayanne fan and friend to Pandora's Caja, Dely Rivera Chay for allowing us to share her incredible video clip of the Premios Oye! tribute to Chayanne. This clip was taken in real time. What I wouldn't have given to be in the audience that night.

So while all of us couldn't be at the ceremony in person, don't forget that we can watch the tribute on February 11th and 12th on Univision at 9:00 pm.

2012 Premio Lo Nuestro Nominations Are Out And Chayanne Is In!

Of course Chayanne is in there! What kind of Latin music awards would the Premios be if Chayanne were not among the nominees. Our job fans is to vote Chayanne from the place of a nominee, to the winner.

Chayanne has been nominated in the Pop category for "Male Artist of The Year". Chayanne shares this honorwith such heavy hitters as Carlos Baute, Enrique Iglesias, and Ricky Martin. All of the nominees are amazing, but Chayanne's star shines the brightest.

Voting for the Premio Lo Nuestro awards goes from December 1 thru December 19, 2011. It's the fan votes that count so please vote! Pass the link on to others and ask them to vote.

Chayanne on the Premios Tonight! We Came, We Voted..and Now We Watch

 We're just a few hours away from the 23rd Annual Premio Lo Nuestro live award show presentation at the American Airlines Arena in Miami tonight, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. The red carpet is televised starting at 7:00 p.m. with the awards show presentation following at 8:00 p.m. on Univision. 

Chayanne has been nominated for Pop Album of the Year (Album Del Ano), "No Hay Imposibles"
Masculine Artist of the Year, Pop (Artista Masculino Del Ano), Pop Song of the Year (Cancion Del Ano), "Me Enamore de Ti".

The PLN winners are selected based on fan votes....so that's going to give Chayanne a huge advantage....why? Because Chayanne has the absolute best fans in the entire world!

I've written in the past about what the PLN Awards are, so I'm not going to go over that territory again. Instead, I'm going to leave you with the clip of Chayanne from last years ceremony.

Chayanne Opened His Heart to Charytin

Una Navidad Magica, which was hosted by celebrity host, Charytin, was an extremely lovely Christmas special. Full of all the sparkle and holiday magic that could be provided by having Disney, probably the most magical places in the world as a back drop.

But of course, the highlight of the special was an interview that Charytin had with our favorite Chayanne. (Of course I'm biased, but you knew that right?)

I knew something was going on when the flow of the Twibe went from almost nil, to off the chain! So you know I had to get the skinny...well, here it is all you Chayanne "Snow Bunnies" *WINK* a little something to take the chill off.

It was confirmed by television celebrity Charytin, that this Sunday, December 19 2010 7 pm EST/6 pm C, Chayanne as well as a host of other celebrities will be appearing in a Christmas Special on the Telefutura and Unvision. The special is called "One Magic Christmas" (Una Navidad Magica) Chayanne as well as a host of other celebrities.



If you don't have the Telefutura channel, don't panic.....I know I did for a second, but I checked and I have it. Thank God for Direct TV! Here is a link where you can watch Telefutura on the internet! Ain't technology grand!! Telefutura on Television Web.

Oh.....by the way....the word is that Chayanne will be wearing a see through shirt.......I'm don't know for sure, but the thought does sound appealing right. Chayanne Fans Were Waiting To Exhale! Si No Estas Bellisimo!

I would dare to say that "Si No Estas" is one of Chayanne's best videos to date. Now that is purely my opinion, others may disagree, and that's cool....but I'm sticking by my guns! LOL

Directed by Gustavo Garzon, the same genius mind that was behind 'Tu Boca, gave us an incredibly poignant and breathtaking piece of film work.

Last night you could almost hear the collective exhale of millions of Chayanne fans as they watched the debut of "Si No Estas" on Univisions "Premir Impacto", some watched on their tv's some watch on their computers, thanks JustinTV! (And thank you Rosa!!) Ok ...so I was watching on both....I like Chayanne in stereo, so sue me! *smile*

The lyrics from the song say, "Si no estás, No se nada de mi, El tiempo retrocede, Algo falta, lo siento, me duele..." (If you're gone, I  know nothing of me, Time retrocedes,Something is missing, I feel it, It hurts me)


So time slows down to a crawl in this man's life because his love isn't there, she's gone. Chayanne doesn't get the girl is this video....so sad, I do love a happy ending....but then again when we get to the end of the song apparently she's still gone.......


In this case art does not imitate life! I don't think I know of any woman in her right mind that wouldn't go back to her man, especially if he looked like Chayanne, and sang this song like Chayanne....Sister girl, the man was beggin! *smh* Anyway enough of me and my ramblings, just in case you missed it last night enjoy, and don't forget this video will be available for purchase on iTunes on October 19






Me atrevería a decir que "Si No Estás" es uno de los mejores videos de Chayanne hasta la fecha. Ahora que es puramente mi opinión, otros pueden estar en desacuerdo, y eso es genial .... pero me quedo por mis pistolas! LOL
Dirigido por Gustavo Garzón, la mente mismo genio que estuvo detrás de 'Tu Boca, nos dio una pieza increíblemente conmovedor e impresionante de trabajo en el cine.
Ayer por la noche casi se podía oír la exhalación colectiva de millones de fans de Chayanne, ya que vio el debut de "Si no ESTAS" de Univision en "Premir Impacto", algunos vieron en su televisión de algunos de seguimiento en sus equipos, gracias JustinTV! (Y gracias Rosa!) Ok ... así que yo estaba viendo a ambos .... me gusta Chayanne en estéreo, por lo que demandar a mí! * Sonrisa *
La letra de la canción dice, "Si No Estás, no en sí nada de mi, retroceder El Tiempo, Falta Algo, lo siento, me duele ..." (Si te has ido, no sé nada de mí, retrocede el tiempo, algo que falta, lo siento, me duele)
Así que el tiempo se ralentiza a paso de tortuga en la vida de este hombre, porque su amor no está allí, ella se ha ido. Chayanne no conseguir a la chica de este vídeo .... es tan triste, a mi me gusta un final feliz .... pero luego otra vez cuando llegamos a la final de la canción al parecer ella sigue desaparecido .......
En este caso el arte no imita a la vida! No creo que sé de ninguna mujer en su sano juicio que no volvería a su hombre, especialmente si se parecía a Chayanne, y cantó esta canción como Chayanne .... hermana chica, el hombre fue comenzar! * * SMH De todos modos lo suficiente de mí y de mis divagaciones, por si acaso te lo perdiste ayer por la noche disfrutar, y no se olvide de este vídeo estará disponible para su compra en iTunes el 19 de Octubre.
