2012 Premio Lo Nuestro Nominations Are Out And Chayanne Is In!

Of course Chayanne is in there! What kind of Latin music awards would the Premios be if Chayanne were not among the nominees. Our job fans is to vote Chayanne from the place of a nominee, to the winner.

Chayanne has been nominated in the Pop category for "Male Artist of The Year". Chayanne shares this honorwith such heavy hitters as Carlos Baute, Enrique Iglesias, and Ricky Martin. All of the nominees are amazing, but Chayanne's star shines the brightest.

Voting for the Premio Lo Nuestro awards goes from December 1 thru December 19, 2011. It's the fan votes that count so please vote! Pass the link on to others and ask them to vote.

The Premio Lo Nuestro Awards show will air Thursday, February 16, 2012. I'm going to be there with bells on to watch Chayanne take home the prize! See you there!

Chayanne Wins Three Premios Juventud 2011 Nominations

Of course he did! what would the Premios Juventud Awards be with out Chayanne's name listed among the nominees! Not as exciting as it should be, that's what.

- Best Theme Novela-Me Enamore de Ti (We fell in love with this song instantly!) 

Miami, FL (May 16, 2011) - The family of Sony Music artists and their labels distributed, swept the nominations for the Premios Juventud 2011! This was announced at yesterday afternoon live from Miami on the Univision TV network.

Nominees: Aventura (Premium Latin), Camila, Chayanne, Daddy Yankee (El Cartel), Gerardo Ortiz, Marc Anthony, Pitbull (Mr. 305), Prince Royce (Top Stop), Ricky Martin and Shakira.

It should be noted that Shakira and Ricky Martin got seven nominations each, while Prince Royce (Top Stop) received eight. In addition, Sony Music tops the list of nominations with the most nominated artists.

The Premios Juventud Awards 2011 will take place on July 21 and will be broadcast live on Univision beginning at 7 pm (ET).

The most beautiful thing about the Premios Juventud...it that you, the fans voted and your votes count! I'm not biased...I'm just real. Chayanne has some of the greatest fans in the world. Now we just keep being the great fans that we are. Because another thing that I have learned is that no matter the outcome of an awards ceremony, Chayanne is always and will forever be the winner in our hearts.

Purto Rico Dates Land Chayanne on Billboard's Hot Tours List

The people of Puerto Rico attended Chayanne's concert series February in record breaking numbers and vault Chayanne to 4th place on Billboard's Hot Tour List.

Chayanne shares the spotlight with George Straight and Reba (1) , Michael Buble (2), Jason Aldean (3),
Sting (5), Lisa Lampanelli (6), Diana Krall (7), Meatloaf (8), Robert Plant (9), and Mike Epps (10).

The artist on the lists are rated by total gross ($2,652,018) and attendance 39,877 (41,766)......so you know Puerto Rico was well represented!
Billboard Hot Tours

All this just prior to Chayanne being nominated for the Eventful 2011 Latin Fans' Choice Awards. This award is a part of the 2011 Latin  
Billboard Award activities.

How does it work? You go to the Eventful Website scroll past the other artists (sorry Alejandro Sanz, I had to clarify, the other Alejandro is on there to *WINK*) they're in alphabetical order. Click the button under Chay's picture that says demand and go from there!

Last year, Chayanne wasn't among the nominees for the Latin Billboard awards, but in my opinion, he was the highlight of the show. Fresh off the heels of the release of the single and the video of, "To Boca", Chayanne gave the hottest performance of the night! 

This year, Chayanne's nominations are based on his most recent album, "No Hay Imposibles". Chayanne is currently packing stadiums around the world with the tour.

 

I don't know about you, but I know where I'm going to be on April 28, 2011 at 8:00 pm, glued to my television set to see Chayanne take it home....what about you?

Chayanne on the Premios Tonight! We Came, We Voted..and Now We Watch

 We're just a few hours away from the 23rd Annual Premio Lo Nuestro live award show presentation at the American Airlines Arena in Miami tonight, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. The red carpet is televised starting at 7:00 p.m. with the awards show presentation following at 8:00 p.m. on Univision. 

Chayanne has been nominated for Pop Album of the Year (Album Del Ano), "No Hay Imposibles"
Masculine Artist of the Year, Pop (Artista Masculino Del Ano), Pop Song of the Year (Cancion Del Ano), "Me Enamore de Ti".

The PLN winners are selected based on fan votes....so that's going to give Chayanne a huge advantage....why? Because Chayanne has the absolute best fans in the entire world!

I've written in the past about what the PLN Awards are, so I'm not going to go over that territory again. Instead, I'm going to leave you with the clip of Chayanne from last years ceremony.
