Since becoming a fan of Chayanne, I guess it's been a few years now....
man time flies when you're having fun, any way, in my Chayquest, I've read hundreds of articles, watched so many video clips that I've lost count, and listened to just about every song that Chayanne has ever recorded. Oh, there are still those treasures that only the oldest and wisest of the Chayanne fans are privy to, but every now and then they will surface, you just have to keep a watchful eye out and be very.....

Chayanne's CD "No Hay Imposible" gives us a great theme for the time that we find ourselves living in. Right now I truly do believe that nothing is impossible.....
I really didn't think that I would see and African American as president, but here we are....I'm not as optimistic as to say that the battle is over, but I do believe that we as a country has come along way in becoming the country where all men, and women no matter what their race, ethnicity, or religion can feel equal.
The people of the world have had to pull together to help repair horrific damage that Mother Nature has wrought on various parts of the world.....and in every instance, Chayanne's voice can be found......
So to say that his music has risen above limits is only appropriate. Chayanne has achieved major success and longevity in a career that chews up and spits out newbies and even some seasoned entertainers on a daily basis. Chayanne not only sounds better than ever, his music has taken a slight turn in its journey.
Chayanne is still giving his fans the wonderful music that they have come to love, but he is taking himself and his music to new heights, and he's taking his fans along for the ride. - Let me stop here to clarify Chayanne fans. Chayanne doesn't just have fans in Latin countries, or only among the Spanish speaking people of the US. Chayanne has a huge English speaking fan base, as well as fans in some countries that would amaze you! Like most people who manage websites/blogs etc. you track you hits and where they come from. I have to tell you there are people who search for info on Chayanne from some countries that would probably be the furthest from your mind. I have no doubt in my mind that if Chayanne decided to take his concert tours to other parts of the world, he would have no problem selling them out.....hint hint!
I think it's really cool that you have people from all over the world from various backgrounds etc. that can set aside all of the things that on a daily basis we read about people going to war over, and come together to enjoy sharing personal experience stories, articles, and newly found Chayanne treasures to share with the community.
There are articles and reviews out there that have said less than kind things about Chayanne's new CD, but who cares! Not me, people are entitled to their own opinion, and I'm entitled to mine.....I guess that's why I like blogging...anyway....I'm hoping that this will be the year that Chayanne will be nominated for and win a Grammy for as many categories as he qualifies for, we just have to keep our finger crossed.
What makes music timeless.....what gives great music the ability to transcend? For me, it's the fact that I can listen to it and it can take me some where, some where better, and it can do it over and over again. The music won't care what color I am, it won't care that I don't look like a cover model, where I live, what I have or don't have, or what religion I believe in.
If you could gather all the fans of Chayanne together and take a picture I think it would be appropriate to say, "We Are The World".
