The 18th Annual Latin Awards were held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas this past Thursday, March 10th.  The black-tie and invitation-only event gives recognition to the songwriters and publishers of the year's top songs.

Especial recognition was given to Kike Santander, one of the latin industry's most reknowned songwriter, producer arranger and musican.

Among the award winning songs we, have some of my personal favorites for the year:

Who Wouldn't Want A Celeb Follower on Twitter? TwitChange

The motto of TwitChange is "Changing the world one Tweet at a time". This is their first ever celebrity auction. It started on September 15 and goes until September 25. All of the proceeds from the auction will be going to A Home In Haiti.Org "All proceeds from the TwitChange celebrity auction will provide aHomeInHaiti.org the means to finish rebuilding the Miriam Center. The Miriam Center houses, educates and loves on Haitian children with cerebral palsy, severe autism, and other major life challenges and is one of the only facilities of its kind in Haiti. The current facility houses children in the earthquakeʼs aftermath and is extremely overcrowed. These kids need and deserve a permanent home. aHomeInHaiti.org has provided over $1.5 million in tents to homeless Haitians since the earthquake. They have created a movement of tens of thousands of people across the globe to provide more tents than nearly any established organization or government in the world - all through the power of Social Media. Now, in the first project of Phase 2, we look to break more records! We know that together with YOU, the Miriam Center, the largest and best center of its kind in Haiti will be built!"

The list of celebrities is incredible! The only questions I have is where is my Chayanne! I looked for his name but I couldn't find him! WAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Seriously I know he's been killer busy with his "No Hay Imposible" tour. He just got back from Spain....besides, I know he's saving his tweets for me....right Papi? (I know, some body tell the blog writer to snap out of it!) LOL
