Part III Chayanne Interview With Mexico Suena (English Translation)

There's no other way to start this blog post other than with thanks. A very dear friend of mine offered to translate  more of the Chayanne's Mexico Suena interview. Sister Girl you know I'm sending you much love.

I think was I've found most enjoyable about this particular interview as opposed to others that I have seen is the fact that Chayanne is just being allowed to speak. the interview asks very well thought out, open ended questions to Chayanne and what he gives in return is Chayanne in the simplest form.

So thank to a very dear friend you can watch and enjoy more Chayanne!

Ferly Prado speaks…………………  He is a hard worker himself so is just nice to work for someone that actually works hard and wants to be in rehearsal cause a lot of artist you know either push that to the side or don’t have that time for whatever reason or have the energy. So is just nice to work for someone that is on the same level as you as far as wanting to get the show right wanting to get everything perfect  and make sure everyone is comfortable on stage.”

Cocoy Alvares Speaks...... Chayanne is a very special person, I have always thought that during his concerts there is a magical feeling to it, not sure what it is but obviously it has to do with his energy, his professionalism and all the good intentions he has and puts towards his shows. “

Doug Speaks ……………

Marcus Mitchell Speaks……….

Nancy O'Meara Speaks………..

Ferly Prado Speaks again…..

Nancy O"Meara Speaks again….

Chayanne:  No, in my team there is a lot of talent, you know, there is a lot of talent through out Latin America and around the world.  There are great musicians , great managers , umm great videographers (camera man) but when you work with me and that  opportunity presents itself  because is a spontaneous decision because you believe in that person you don’t know if they are going to work out or not , you might simply give them the job and that person shows you the professionalism they have while working with you, but it really goes beyond the professionalism that person might have , is whether they can interact when traveling  with you,  how are they  as  human beings outside of their work, how is he/she as a coworker , do they have the tolerance, because we have a tour of more than 24 countries and that’s not an easy thing to do, you leave the family your home your pillow your bed your fridge (he laughs) I have a lot of things in there (he laughs in a naughty way) leaving all of those things and having that loyalty and that commitment that I am going to do it is extremely hard  and that’s what I think  what makes people work with me for a long time.

The friendship, those things that human beings have that’s what we look for; (laughs) I say the fridge because when you are at home that’s where you have your belongings  you might  have that hole on your pajamas  you walk around your house with a freedom and peaceful feeling,  because that’s your nest, everyone has a nest ,everyone has that place where they  feel free,  like when you say (pause)  in Puerto Rico we say mommy blessings  or you say Hi Daddy  we all at one point reunited ourselves with our childhood because inside of us we all have that little boy or little girl so is that one place where you are truly free and being able to be free  that too is part of the fridge (he laughs) inside the fridge I have other things , those things that every one in the world has , I have the milk for cereals I have those little normal things ( he says this as he is laughing). But that’s what you have at home, that freedom.

Change Comes To Chayanne Dance Crew

"I wanted to change the world. But I have found that the only thing one can be sure of changing is oneself" - Aldous Huxley

Well twibe...it's official two of the dance crew in Chayanne "No Hay Imposible" tour are moving on. The ladies that we first came to know and love as the through Chayanne's first video from his most recent CD release, "Tu Boca", Ferly Prado and Victoria Parsons had their last show Wednesday night in Chicago.

I have to tell you...they brought an energy, enthusiasm, and spirit that was like a breath of fresh air. Both ladies are not only shared themselves to fans on the stage, they have been more than gracious to Chayanne fan everywhere. They danced their hearts out and gave 100% of themselves through it all.

They will be missed....I know I will miss them. Where ever you ladies go and whatever you do, just know that all of us will be standing behind you cheering you on. Much Love Ladies

To the ladies that are taking their place...you have some big shoes to fill....and I wish you nothing but love!

I leave you with an homage to Ferly and Vicky......That's the way Guajira's Roll!
~Peace
