Chayanne, Atlantic Cty, and a Litte Bit of Pixie Dust

August 8, Atlantic City, Boardwalk Arena; this is were the most magical night of my life took place. Chayanne in concert! Bringing the heat that only he can with his tour En Todo Estare. Ladies and gentlemen, this show is nothing short of SPECTACULAR!!

Chayanne commands your attention from the moment he walks off the stage until he graciously waves good-bye.

This was actually the third Chayanne concert that I've had the pleasure to attend. The first was in 2010, then GIGANT3S, and now 2015 En Todo Estare.

There are three larger than life screens, one on either side of the stage and one in the middle. During the performance there are video vignettes that play during selected songs. Each and everyone of these scenes is so well crafted, that they should be made into stand alone videos. My favorite was the video for the Chayanne classic Lola. It was sleek, modern, mysterious, and over the top sexy. Christian Grey Who?!

Chayanne pre-show time, This pic wasn't from the AC show, but heck he's shirtless! What's a girl to do!

If I have said it once, I've said it  a thousand times. Chayanne is timeless. Biologically, yes he is getting older; But his performance is as breathtaking as ever. As much as I was enjoying the concert I found myself thinking, " I hope they bring this to DVD!" I also hope that they explore the possibility of bringing En Todo Estare to Yahoo Live Nation. This is a venue for the entire planet to see what Chayanne can bring.

I'll be the first to tell you that I cannot speak Spanish, I've learned a few phrases over the years. When a person speaks Spanish slowly I can understand some things. I also know that music breaches all language barriers, and if En Todo Estaré was shown in a venue that already had a global viewership, new fans would crop up in droves.

This year was the first concert where I was front row center. I was so close I could see where his sweat landed when it hit the stage. I didn't miss a beat. What do I enjoy most about Chayanne's concerts is that he makes you feel as if you are the only person in the room even though you're surrounded by thousands.

As for me, the story that I will be telling...one night with Chayanne in Atlantic City with the help of a little bit of Pixie dust, I flew.

Much Love,

Pandora,

Shout outs to my girl Carmen Rivera, much love to you Chica! It was a blast to finally get to hang out with you. Bariloche, what can I say Lady, it was so good to see you! Candela, Gurl!! Now It's My Turn! Chayanne's En Todo Estare Tour Coming To Atlantic City, New Jersey

They say that patience is a virtue, well if that's the case, then I'm the most virtuous woman on planet earth! For months, along with thousands of fans I had to wait for Chayanne's En Todo Estare tour to come to the United States. We watched and waited. I have to tell you that I almost don't have any fingernails left! but now the wait is over. THIS Saturday August 8th at the Boardwalk Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, I will finally get to see Chayanne once again in all is SEXY FINE GLORY!!

Now, that I've gotten that out of my system, I can hopefully move on and write a halfway coherent article *wink*

All around the world and back again, Chayanne has take the En Todo Estare tour to millions of adoring fans, and he has not left left them disappointed. So this post is to give all of you a heads up, that I will be at Boardwalk arena with bells on!! Then There Were 3, GIGANT3S: Marc, Chayanne, Marco Antonio Solis Burning Up Atlantic City

August 17, 2012.....when the day started, I knew I was in store for the time of my life. Chayanne, Marc Anthony and Marco Antonio Solis all on the same stage.....but little did I know  the very definition of "live concert" was going to be re-defined.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Chayanne live in concert twice during the "No Hay Imposibles" tour. This was the first time that I've seen Marc Anthony, or Marco Antonio Solis, and I was past pleasantly surprised....no, more than surprised, I was captivated.

The house lights went down and the "M" came up, after that, nothing but total excitement. Marco Antonio Solis sang some of his mega hits such as Tu Carcel, Si Ti Hago Tanto Mal, Morenita, and Si No Te Hubieras Hido.

Marco Antonio Solis, El Buki, as he is also known, won me over. Prior to the concert I had listed to a few of his songs, but to be honest with you I wasn't that impressed, I thought he had a really nice voice but the songs  just didn't click with me.....but after seeing him live, he has a new found "FFL" Fan For Life.

Marco Antonio Solis has a wonderful sense of humor (Of course Bariloche willingly served as translator, You know I love you Sister Girl!), and he even got his dance on a little bit. What was his fan favorite song of the night? Tu Carcel.

Next up....CHAYANNE!!

When Chayanne made his entrance, rising from the upper stage floor, the crowd let out an ear splitting roar, that was nothing other than the sound of raw excitement and love. He brings an energy and charisma that stand unchallenged. How many men can say that they can melt the hearts of thousands of women at one time with just a warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes.....Chayanne just might be Superman*wink*

Burning up the stage with such notables as Lola, Torero, Si nos Quedara Poco Tiempo,
Baila Baila, and of course Provacame......by the way.....

I didn't know Papi could get lift like THAT! LOOL (and yes you could hear the gasp of approval of all the mujeres in the audience!) 'Nuff said.

What can I say, Chayanne never ceases to amaze me, and neither does Nancy O'Meara, long-time friend and choreographer, who put her unique signature brand on this concert. New costumes and choreography were the order of the day, you go Nancy!

The highlight for me, was when he sang Si nos Quedara Poco Tiempo....it seemed as if just for a few minutes, the entire world was singing along. He never fails to steal my heart......Well done Chayanne, well done.

Chayanne - Si nos quedara poco tiempo - Tour No hay imposibles Chile 2010

And then there were three......Marc Anthony......OMG!!!

This was my first time seeing Marc live, but it will definitely not be my last. I'll admit that I've always had a soft spot for Marc Anthony, he packs a lot of Latin Sexy in a small package, but seeing him own the stage, owning the audience, he ranks as a master showman, vocalist, and all around entertainer.

As Marc sang songs that included Y Hubo Alguien, Y Como Es el, vivir Lo Nuestro, Hasta Ayer,  and Valio la Pena, the crowd stood on their feet (yes sisters were taking of those high heels and changing into their flats by the time we got to this point) and sang at the top of their voices.

This is one of my favorite moments of the night. Marc has finished singing his first few songs and the crowd is going crazy! He looks to the right, then he looks to the left, he shakes his head and says,"Now THAT's what I'm talking about!"

Mind you, he has no dancers, no killer costumes. All he brings his big band sound, his even bigger voice, and his ENORMOUS personality, and works the audience into a frenzy.

This was a few minutes after the picture above, Marc had received so much love from the audience that he almost became overwhelmed. Lovely.......The fan favorite of the night was probably Y Hubo Alguien.

As amazing as this concert was, it was truncated from the show that they did the previous weekend at the Izod Center.  The three artists did sing together for the finale, but the duets between the individual artist's sets were edited out of the show.

By the end of the concert, Bariloche and I look at each other and said, "We have to do Vegas!"

What can I tell you GIGANT3S is like the sampler platter of all your favorite delicious things, you may indulge, but you still have room for more, and I guarantee you'll want to see this show more than once.

One can always hope that this concert makes it to DVD when the tour closes.....here's to hoping *fingers crossed*

~Peace

Chayanne Brings the Heat to Atlantic City!

As 9:00 PM approached last night in Atlantic City, NJ and temperatures dropped to 40F rest assure that the approximately 2,000 people congregated at the Taj Mahal’s Mark G. Etess Arena did not feel a shiver!

The Mark G. Etess Arena at the Taj Mahal was the chosen stage for Chayanne’s first ever concert in this city.  With fans flocking from all over the tri-state area for this milestone event in his career, Chayanne performed the first of two concerts in the East Coast as part of the 2nd leg of his No Hay Imposibles tour in the USA.  If George Washington was alive and present at the show I am sure he would say “I cannot tell a lie…. This show absolutely ROCKED!.”  It should come as no surprise.  Having recently been named the Elvis Presley of our times by the media covering his concerts in Florida earlier this month, with his smooth steps, sultry voice and oh-so-rhythmic hip shakes Chayanne brought everyone in the audience to their feet to dance and have a great time.
At the center of it the audience… and I mean THE center… As in, mid section second row from the stage on the seats perfectly lined up with the center, there we were, Pandora and I,  [I will let her get into the emotional thrill of the whole night :-)]

The scenery during "Si No Estas" was absolutely breathtaking

The show itself was not that much different from those on the first leg of the tour. A few changes were made to the tracklist.  Two of my all time favorite Chayanne songs, “Fiesta en America” and “Palo Bonito” were added and sent the audience wild.  Perhaps the most apparent change of all was Chayanne’s main dancing ladies, whom you may have read in our previous posts, Victoria and Ferly bid goodbye to the tour in Chicago.  In their place, I was pleasantly surprised to recognize Sarah Shell from the Cautivo/ Mi Tiempo Tour (you may also remember her from the official video of “Lola”, she is the beautiful blonde).  Opposite Sarah was Rachel Markarian, who was part of Chayanne’s Sincero Tour.  The ladies were fantastic on their first performance and I am sure that as the tour progresses they will only get better and better.  And the boys… well, what can I say about the boys?  They were magnificent.  Without a doubt part of what makes Chayanne’s concerts so amazing is the team he has behind him and they are truly amazing professionals and the best in their respective fields.

Sarah

Rachel

Tu boca, boca...

As the music for “Torero” came on, we knew we were at the end of our adventure, but rest assure, it took a good half hour minimum to cool off after such a sizzling performance.  The heat of this show will surely and comfortably take us through this winter season in the East Coast.

Please stay tune to Pandora’s great adventure and additional photographs from the concert.

Chayanne's "No Hay Imposible Tour" The Encore!

Well...if Ticket Master says it...it must be true.....right? I'm about to get in my car the other day and my cell phone allerts me that I have just gotten an email...well being the Chayanne fan that I am I pick up my phone to check it, after all what kind of fan would I be if I missed a Chay tweet or email notification! I have to tell you it was one of the best emails that I've received in a long time.

If you've been keeping up with my blog posts as I hope that you have, you know that in June I attended my very first Chayanne concert. I had been told that one Chayanne concert is never enough! I figured I got to see one...I can be happy with that. But I found myself hoping and praying that Chayanne would bring his "No Hay Imposible" tour back east on the second leg of the US tour.  Well somebody up there likes me!!! The subject line of my email was "Otra Vez", how cute is that?! Thank you Chica! - Un Beso! In the message there was a link and the words "Good luck with seats! Let me know what you find!" I clicked the link, the Ticket Master website came up and I saw it!
