5,6,7,8...Nancy O'Meara Getting Chayanne's Crew Tight!

Two days ago on Twitter Chayanne's long time friend and Choreographer, Nancy O'Meara gave us a quick peek behind the scenes of Chayanne's upcoming performance in Puebla, Mexico.

Nancy O'Meara, Choreographer

I can't tell you how good it feels to know that THIS Saturday May 5, 2012 we'll get to watch Chayanne and the Family back in action! While Chayanne, Nancy, and all the dancers have been super friendly and continuously active with their fans, watching them do what they do best is a treat you definitely don't want to miss.

Here's what happens when you have a family reunion....(Turn up you sound for this one, the sound is a bit low) Brandon baby, don't you worry about your cheeks! Women love a man with some thickness is his cheeks!

Here's another really cool clip that Marcus shot of Brandon and himself having a bit of "Gimme, Gimme".

As my blogger sister in arms Bariloche put down the other day, "With the excitement that has been surrounding the GIGANT3S Tour, we have all forgotten one little detail...  Chayanne will be performing in Puebla for 5 de Mayo!

The City is getting ready to a magnificent show for the 150th anniversary of the battle of 5 de Mayo in Puebla, Mexico.  The Governor of the city of Puebla explained that on this day, they will start the celebration as they always do... with a military march and aerial show.  They will then re-enact the battle of 5 de Mayo with the participation of 8,000 soldiers.

At night, the celebration will continue at approximately 8 pm with a show that will be televised internationally.  Those who will perform include our beloved Chayanne, Espinoza Paz and Marc Anthony as the closing encore from the Cuauhtemoc Stadium.  The FREE show will go on for about 2 hours.

If my ears did not deceived me earlier, Univision has started announcing the show and they will televise the celebration for our delight.  So put it on your calendars!  You have a date with Chayanne and Marc Anthony this upcoming Saturday night.  Get the Guacamole, Salsa, Chips and Tequila ready!"

"If This Is To Be Our End" Chayanne's Whirlwind No Hay Imposibles Tour Closes With Last Show In Oaxaca

"If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end as to be worthy of remembrance." ~ King Theoden From  the Lord Of The Rings, Two Towers

October 29, at the Auditorio la Guelaguetza, in Oaxaca, Mexico Chayanne ended his 18 month run of "No Hay Imposibles. I didn't have the pleasure of being at the last show, but from the looks of the pictures, the tweets, and video uploads, Chayanne ended his tour the EXACT same way that he started it.....HARD CORE!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there have been very few concert tours that landed on Billboard's "Top Ten Tours" every week that they had a show. Can your mind wrap itself around that? REALLY? That means that of all the tours being held over the last 18 months that NHI placed in the top ten based on Total Gross, Show Dates, Show Venue/City (Shows/Sellouts), Total Attendance (Capacity).

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that there have been very few concert tours where there has been such a strong sense of connection from the artist, to the dancers, the musicians, crew and the fans. Thanks to the advances of the social media outlets, we were able to share tweets and videos from Chayanne and Nancy's behind the scenes clips, to the very well put together video clips made by the dancers.(Belly Buttons don't die! They multiply!)

I know I can speak for myself, my very dear friend Anniee Renes of Chayanne Rocks, and the incredible ladies of Pandora's Caja when I say that we had a blast with Nancy O'Meara and her first ever fan driven interview. Nancy you are amazing....and you Dazzle! Our interviews with Brandon Barton and Marcus E. Mitchell (go ahead and scream they are super fine hotties!)

Pandora's Caja over the last year has been a blast! It started out with just me and now I have the great pleasure of working along side five incredible sister's in the cause, Bariloche, Candela, Fantasia Chayane (who almost single handedly makes Pandora's Caja page on FB run like a well oiled machine! Besos!) Glamour Girl, and La Guerita. These ladies are the heartbeats of the box.

Yesterday Chayanne sent this beautiful message to his fans via twitter and email:

"Today I share with you a sense of excitement and gratitude. "No Hay Imposibles" (Nothing is Impossible), my tour, has just ended and I'm happy to have shared it with you, in every country, every city, in every heart. Only your love, your energy and your support makes it possible for me to be there for you.

For over a year and a half I enjoyed every loving detail I received on stage, in hotels, airports, wherever I went.  It is a sign of your affection and you're all very well loved in return. I'd also like to thank the media from all around for their support and respect. Now begins a new phase for me and new projects, which I will soon be sharing with you.

Hug,

Chayanne"

*Modified translation by Bariloche (Love you girl!)

Personally this has been 18 months of unexpected things, some good, some not so good, and then there were the things that that only sweet dreams are made of. There's only one thing that could be better than all of this.......and that I think I'll keep to  myself ;)

Peace~

And Then There Were Two.....New Dancers to Chayanne's Dance Crew That Is! Welcome Latrina Bolger

What can I tell you? Chayanne and Nancy O'Meara have been busy! Busy getting ready to set it off! We know there are going to be new dancers, but the questions remains...how many?

Today Nancy O'Meara sent out another warm welcome to dancer Latrina Bolger.

Grew up in Dallas Texas.
Use to dance everywhere I went as a kid so my mom enrolled me in dance.
Received scholarships to multiple universities for academics, but knew I'd rather be dancing. So I moved to LA straight out of high school.
When I'm not dancing I'm baking cookies.
Lucile Ball is my inspiration because she changed the face of television.
I can't live without my chapstick.
"Live in the moment."
I have no doubt that Chayanne and Nancy have some amazing things in store for all of the fans of Argentina and Mexico....and Latrina's going to be there bringing it on!

As far as I know Latrina Bolger will be joined by Tyrell "Trellz" Washington, Brandon "B-Love" Barton......and......the rest we're still trying to find out. But we're keeping our eyes open.

In the mean time, please enjoy this incredible video clip of Latrina. I wonder if Nancy's going to have her do aerial work on NHI!

Brandon Barton Brings Sizzling Moves and Incredible Personality to Chayanne's NHI Tour

Brandon Barton, better known to you Twitter lovers as @bbartoncuzz, is one of the new dancers on Chayanne's NHI Tour 2011. Almost from the very second that official word broke that Brandon was going to be one of Chayanne's dance crew, Brandon opened his heart and his Twitter (not to mention his Facebook) to Chayanne's fans.

If you haven't had the pleasure of having one of Twitter 140 character or less conversations with Brandon then you're missing out on a real treat.....I think Brandon is the only person to come along in a while that can get Chayanne fans of multi-nationalities and ages to to start speaking in "Brandoneese", you know what I mean cuzzz? Mira Weppppaaaa!

Personality not withstanding, Brandon is one of the most incredible dancers that I have seen in a very long time. He brings a raw energy, and hard core sexy to the dynamic choreography of our beloved Nancy O'Meara. (You know you have to bring your Sexy A-game if you're going to dance next to Chayanne!)

So I have to tell you, it was a great pleasure when Brandon agreed to do an interview with Pandora's Caja. With that said, enough of me talking....ladies and gentlemen, one of my new favorites and soon to be one of yours, Mr. Brandon Barton

PC - Can you tell us the very moment when you knew you wanted to be a professional dancer?

BB - I was in high school and watching the 1999 VMA’s, which had Britney Spears, TLC, Sisquo, NSYNC, Janet, and Christina Aguilera. I had always liked to dance, but never thought I’d do it seriously. I was super focused on my education and had acquired a full scholarship to college after high school. Once I got to college I realized that it was entertainment that I wanted to pursue.

Brandon workin' it during a rehearsal for Chayanne's NHI Tour

PC - What types of dance disciplines do you work with? i.e Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Modern?

BB – I am most disciplined in Hip Hop, but also studied Jazz and ballet when I was younger and involved in gymnastics. I used to be a competitive gymnast. I was state champion in Georgia twice. But as a dancer you have to be able to “fake it till you make it”, meaning that even though hip hop is my strong pursuit, I sometimes have to perform other genres of dance on certain jobs.

PC - I have read that not only do you dance but you also teach and choreograph. If you had to pick just one that you could do which one would it be?

BB – I couldn’t pick just one! I love entertainment and being able to express myself creatively, whether that’s dancing, choreographing, music, or teaching. I also love fashion and clothes.
Brandon sending us Tweets no doubt!

PC - Can you tell us some of the choreographers that you’ve worked with?

BB – I’ve worked with Marty Kudelka, Fatima Robinson, Nancy O’Meara, Hi Hat, Michael Rooney, Rich and Tone Talauga, Swoop, Ed Moore, Mikey Minden, Othanne Burnside, Jamaica Croft, Aakamon Jones, Fli Styles, Laurie Ann Gibson, Cicely and Olisa, Tahisha Scott, and Lissette and Chonique, to name a few.

Marty Kudelka
Fatima Robinson
Nancy O'Meara
Hi Hat
Michael Rooney

PC - Can you tell us some of the artists that you’ve worked with?

BB – Honestly there are so many to name, as I’ve been blessed to work with an amazing plethora of artists. Some of them include, Missy Ellito, Cheryl Cole, Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, TLC, Aaliyah, Kylie Minougue, Kesha, Ciara, Brandy, Omarion, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Will Ferell, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Sisqo, Christina Milian, Christina Aguillera, Tom Cruise and P. Diddy to name a few.

PC - Where do you think it’s best for a dancer starting out to be, New York or L.A.? And Why

BB – It depends on what you want to do as a dancer. NYC is excellent for musical theater/Broadway. LA is great for commercial dance (i.e. commercials, television, movies, and videos) Most of the work as a dancer takes place outside of LA.  That’s where most of the film/television studios are.

PC - Right now you’re on tour with Chayanne on his “NHI” tour, what is your favorite dance number of the show and why?

BB – Mu favorite dance number is probably “Salome” and “Lola”. They are both fun! “Salome” is super intense and militant. “Lola” is dope because it’s chill and the number involves all of the dancers, both male and female, but mainly because Chayanne dances A LOT in that number.

PC - Chayanne fans are loving you up! Do you have anything that you would like to say to them?

BB – Thanks for all the love from the Chayanne Fans!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!! Make sure you check out my music group, “the LAB”, on YouTube at: theLABmusic 2010

Thank you Brandon for the bottom of the Box for sitting down and having some chat time with us. Our words for Brandon.....once you're a part of the family you're always in the heart of the family...Much Love!

~Peace
